Watts putting himself about well today btw, creating that opportunity on goal for Bail and a few other decent things so far...

Broke the pack 50 out and nearly kicked a goal all of his own making :thumbsu:

Demons 0-2-2
Hawks 2-6-18

can Rodan handle a clean footy anymore? Every touch he gets he fumbles.

Buddy goal from a free kick against Chippa

Noticed that also. Has fumbled at least 3 times already today.

Once we get it we just can't hold on to it. Lack of options, hanging kicks, poor decisions. That''s the coach not the players.

He's had a year and a half to get some sense into how we use the footy.

The effort has been good so far to no avail.

Yeah, soft goals from turnovers kill us so much of the time, and that was no exception.

Demons 0-2-2
Hawks 3-6-24

So a hanging kick or a poor decision is purely down to the coaches? They aren't the ones kicking it or making the decision.

The gulf in class overall very apparent of course, as to be expected. But Hawthorn finishing in front of goal, like a sawn-off 12-gauge shottie, as always, thank goodness.

Demons 0-3-3
Hawks 3-8-26

Watts backing himself. :thumbsu:

Yep, great work by Jack to beat the man and set up Dawes for that shot near the top of the arc. If only we could kick one or two of those, we'd be in this right now :thumbsu:

Kent looks a lot better today. Fitzy lacks composure though.

Kent has been terrific. Like the fact he takes the game on.

Dawes has been excellent as well. Would have loved him to kick that goal but his work rate is first class.

Watts really should have contested the mark that Lake took from the kick in - not sure he realised that it was Kent on Lake lol.. good start from the lad though, Hawks should be another 3 goals up - not through a lack of competitiveness from us, just so many basic skill errors which are costing us big time.

Put yourself in the shoes of our midfield coach. Lewis, Hodge, Sewell, Mitchell, Shiels, Burgoyne and co are doing as they please through the middle. Pressure is non-existant and no one is beating their man. Bail and Rodan may or may not be playing for the other side. Neeld is practically in tears over how badly we're getting overrun. Do you:

A) Play minesweeper
B) Play solitaire
C) Play hearts
