Lewis belting Cripps from behind & breaking his jaw was worse IMO
Cripps also struck out at Lewis then got a better one back. No bigger sooks on Bigfooty than Carlton fans.

That’s absolute rubbish. Glad there’s no west coast fans trying to claim this about gaff. I guess they’re a bit less emabarrassing, which is pretty damning to be honestCripps also struck out at Lewis then got a better one back. No bigger sooks on Bigfooty than Carlton fans.

Actually not beating good teams is a more recent phenomenon.
This year with the exception of the second St kilda game we have won all the games we were expected to win while losing too more fancied teams. The past couple of years we have taken some big scalps like the Hawks in 2016 but lost to Essendon with its top ups & the Blues. While last year we beat the Crows in Adelaide, Eagles in Perth, Port Adelaide yet lost to North twice & a depleted Pies team in Rd 23
I'm sure I'm not mixing it up with one of the other half a dozen times Lewis waited until an opponent turned their back to throw a punchYou fair dinkum lied when you said Lewis struck him from behind. You are a little pathetic champ

We got very similar in 2015, just worded a bit differently. The thing about finals is the clubs need to plan but in a lot cases cant be sure. Someone at your club worded it poorly, that's all..... just waiting for my how to get finals tickets info sent again... last years package didn't work!

Literally never happened once crazy person.
Done talking to you. Waste of my time.
To be fair, we were twice on the wrong end of a kick after the siren against the cats and lost to the saint by 2 in a game that albeit we were terrible in that had it had 30 seconds more we win.You get what I meant, ie expected to perform better, more consistently against sides with similar quality of players. To be fair, not beating good teams has been a staple at Melbourne for over a decade.
Honeymoon has been over for a while now, the only reason the blowtorch hasn't been properly applied is due to low expectation and a season so even there's no standout bar perhaps Richmond, and they aren't that great.
Dees must make finals this year or it will be another failure.
I actually think Melbourne will win the premiership. Just my gut feel and obviously my opinion.
Richmond are the heavy weights no doubt about it. "Superb, almost Harlem Globetrotter-esque, hunting in packs, running in numbers, with an almighty belief" team. Defending premiers and brushing all challengers aside to date.
West Coast have had a fantastic year and on their day can not only mix it with the best but can beat the best up. Will be almost impossible to beat at home in finals and up there in premiership contention - Gaff a big loss though.
GWS quite frankly IMHO are looking ominous and have a scarily talented team. But injuries haven't helped their cause. Have done extremely well to be top 4 though and if they finish inside the four come finals, they could be a real danger for any team!
Geelong... won't be their year. Good honest team with two real stars (Danger and Kelly) one aging star and a decent hard-working Captain plus a never-say-die attitude might cause some problems if they make the eight and I suspect they will, but they won't win the premiership this year.
Collingwood. Admirable. Super courageous. But injuries.
Melbourne is my bet. Just a gut feeling. When they get going... damn they can score heavy. Really heavy. Almost like the George Foreman of Football. Can literally knock teams into next week with their attack and contested ball. I think they'll win it all in an absolutely outstanding month of football. Cheers.
My gut feeling is GWS on the proviso they can win @ the MCG. Not sure what their record is like there.I actually think Melbourne will win the premiership. Just my gut feel and obviously my opinion.

100% agree. Melbourne also have great momentum and are peaking at the right time. this time last year Richmond's scoring suddenly bounced up to over 100pts per game.. a roll we took into finals. Melbourne have not had any problem scoring, but in the last few weeks the 'points against' have suddenly dropped massively -both scenarios are indicators that the team has come together and the team game style was reaching optimum output. The trials and tribulations of pre-season and early season all add emotional grist to the mill; they have a narrative and they are becoming white hot. Now they are flogging lower teams by huge margin (ala Richmond vs Freo last year)... the Final 3 rounds will bear this hypothesis out as true or not- but the signs are all there.
And change all Richmond’s wins to losses and they are bottom and Melbourne win the flag!!!To be fair, we were twice on the wrong end of a kick after the siren against the cats and lost to the saint by 2 in a game that albeit we were terrible in that had it had 30 seconds more we win.
Changes those results and were 1st/2nd on the ladder with3 rounds to go.
Love the optimism but we aren't ready to match the tigers. You guys have 3 superstars in Jroo Rance and Dusty. Cotch is bloody good aswell. We have young stars but they aren't elite (except Oliver, shit he can play)
I'd love to just see us make a good fist of a final at this stage
Yeah good call on the "points against" mate and good post full stop.100% agree. momentum covers a lot: the main thing going against you is simply lack of finals experience, and the danger of playing an interstate final probably.
in terms of getting to the GF, West Coast have a big big advantage over everyone if they finish top 2 and get 2 home finals. I wouldn't not want to be drawing them. AO, SGC, Spotless... not good either, but manageable, but WCE as AS would be ugly.
Well done. Missed the point entirelyAnd change all Richmond’s wins to losses and they are bottom and Melbourne win the flag!!!
Apparently a few, they haven't defeated any side inside the top 9 currently.Melbourne for the flag?? How many of you are on drugs??
Whilst I don’t necessarily share your optimism, it’s interesting that you mention the points against.100% agree.
