Re: Melbourne's first 1.5 quarters against Geelong

Rocket and the Bulldogs dodged a bullet, they may escape some unwanted attention they would otherwise have come in for this week.

Re: Melbourne's first 1.5 quarters against Geelong

Tom Scully would win a flag with GWS before he'd win one with Melbourne if he stayed!

Re: Melbourne's first 1.5 quarters against Geelong

Why would Scully want to show any loyalty to a club like Melbourne??

Green is the worst leader at any club.

Come to Collingwood Tom.

Re: Melbourne's first 1.5 quarters against Geelong

Melbourne have the next Riewoldt (Watts) playing though. How could this be?

Re: Melbourne's first 1.5 quarters against Geelong

Bailey could get them in the rooms, put 1 player on one side of the room and the other 20 on the other. Thats the goal difference in a half of footy. He should have stormed on the ground at half time and thrown the red vest at either Green or Moloney.

Re: Melbourne's first 1.5 quarters against Geelong

Anyone else see Brad Green chuck a wobbly at Dan Nicholson for not getting on the end of the ball in the goalsquare in the 2Q.

Sums up Green as both a player and as a leader this year.

Re: Melbourne's first 1.5 quarters against Geelong

Total absence of leadership at Melbourne. Green is a disgrace.
Watts getting schooled by a VFL Player.
Why on earth would scully stay? Few fans, shocking future, back to square one

Re: Melbourne's first 1.5 quarters against Geelong

Collingwood don't need Scully, they're good enough without him.

I feel sorry for the kids who get read out on draft day saying they're going to play for Melbourne.

Re: Melbourne's first 1.5 quarters against Geelong

What a shocking half by Melbourne, do they even care?

Geelong awesome no doubt, but this is just pathetic by Melbourne.

Re: Melbourne's first 1.5 quarters against Geelong

Are Moloney and green injured?
Mentally, YES.
Physically, NO.

This could be the worst performance by a captain in history.

Re: Melbourne's first 1.5 quarters against Geelong

Brad Green is unquestionably the worst captain of an AFL club in 2011. Sure, other captains may have less talent but you could never doubt their work ethic and leadership. Green has displayed little of that this year.

Re: Melbourne's first 1.5 quarters against Geelong

Been saying it for a long time Melbourne are just a loser club

You got cocky at the end of last years seasons thinking your kids were the best but what u got wrong is all these kids need leaders with hard bodies to provide leadership Sylvia Green Maloney are not leaders

You guys have let Bailey just lose week in week out and he has seemed to get away with it in the club and with the media you guys gave supported losing

The most pathetic performance I have ever seen

Re: Melbourne's first 1.5 quarters against Geelong

Give Jim Stynes a run, at least he bleeds for the club, same for James McDonald.

Worst effort this year, has overtaken Norths effort vs Collingwood.

Re: Melbourne's first 1.5 quarters against Geelong

Scully's management are just ringing up the Giants now to confirm Scully wants to go
