As an aside, I had an architect come around today (small reno) and he couldn't stop talking about the Sudanese youth problem, naturally I kept quiet (not), then my brother whispered in my ear that as he is best mates with him, they guy wasn't charging me. Seeing how anti he was, I decided to back off a little.

This is what happens when communities believe the police and government isn't doing enough to stop groups of gangs and thugs terrorising communities. Look at the events that took place in Sydney before the Cronulla riots. No one wants a repeat of that, but if imbeciles like Andrews continue to ignore the problem, unfortunately something similar is going to happen in Melbourne.
Pretending that no problems exist with African youths in Melbourne does no one any favours. It's time leftists realised this.

What the Left don't understand is they're not doing the African community any favours by pretending there's no problem with African gangs. As a result, these kids aren't disciplined properly and end up living a life of crime and end up in jail. If they have kids, they end up being fatherless and the endless cycle continues.
Andrews needs to stop being a coward and tackle the issue head on so these African kids have a chance to get out of gangs and to live a normal life.

Lol, so because a minority isn't being universally condemned means they automatically end up in a cycle of crime?
Reckon if they were universally condemned and open to be discriminated against, thus tarring their whole community as thugs it would make things worse and more of them would actually revolt I'd imagine with said discrimination firmly on their minds as inspiration to revolt.
So Andrews has to be their babysitter, counsellor, judge, jury and executioner too?
Maybe the blokes up in Canberra could do something, like the immigration department, home affairs, welfare department etc all working together on programs designed to help integration and educate them because it is clear the parents of the ones constantly playing up are horrendous role models/do not enforce discipline in their offspring. The immigration department signed off on their families seeking asylum and put them into the community, they are the ones who should be leading the charge here imo.
If things in welfare like indigenous/Torres Strait recognition, ABSTUDY and requirements for job seekers to complete to get paid, then maybe similar programs running along with youth allowance designed to help this community and other people who have resettled here after their asylum was improved could work too? But something like that won't happen, the only welfare payments the right want is the aged pension...
