Ugh - ended up with 2 spare tickets (me and a mate both bought) - better seats in the Brisbane area - section 249 row B (noting that the first 5 rows are aa-ee). Please DM me if interested - happy to do a discount to help someone one (and help me).

Nice to see we jumped up 3 spots to 12th this year.
Only Blues and Cats had a bigger increase in Memberships.

So, no pet memberships are included in this and previous years membership which is good to know.
They have figures for adult, concession and junior which would be nice to know in each clubs breakup.
Once they do that maybe they can then do 2 more groups - full season membership and others

Not getting ahead of myself, but just got the club email about the GF ticket ballot. Obviously 2 big weeks to go before that becomes a reality, but damn it's good to be in the conversation!

GRAND FINAL: MEMBER BALLOT REGISTRATION

WEDNESDAY 18 SEPTEMBER, via Ticketek
Priority 1 Members: 8AM - 11AM

Priority 2 Members: 12PM - 3PM
Priority 3 Members: 4PM - 6PM

We can only hope at this point.
But as the coaches and players say one week at a time.

Does anyone know how many tickets we can purchase for the PF per membership? Email says 10, but i want to make sure this is not a weird email wording!

———————-
If using multiple barcodes, please enter one barcode per line in the box provided.
Limit of ten (10) tickets per membership.
You can purchase a maximum of ten (10) tickets in one transaction.
The Toyota AFL Finals Series is a high demand event, with tickets subject to availability.

Yeah this seems legit to me. The crowd for our 2022 Prelim was only 70k or thereabouts, so you'd think unlikely to be a sell out on Saturday.

looks like the queue is for both games. i've still got 8697 infront of me
I couldn't believe it this morning. I was on for the MCC ticket release at 9am. #41 in the queue. Appreciate that there's less MCC members competing for tickets, but I've never seen a queue number below 1000. Still didn't pfaff around finding the absolute best seats... i would booking for a group of 9 and 5 minutes isn't a long time to be choosy!

If anyone isn’t able to travel down to Melbourne and thus isn't planning to use their membership barcode for the grand final ballot. P1,p2 or even P3 please let me know. 🙏 I would happily pay you some cash to get the opportunity to see Brisbane play in a grand final. Thanks!

Random question but does anyone know if we can use our Lions shop vouchers at the pop up store in Melbourne? Have 2 x $20 unused vouchers and I live too far from the GABBA to use them before Saturday. Postage will also take too long

You can do click and collect at the pop up store. So try to apply them online.

I had 2x P2 2023 and sat third last row.

Had 1x P2 2024 and had row J level 4 behind the goals.

I actually prefer Level 4 as it’s an outstanding view.

Ended up going MCC last row on the wing with my Mum, missed out on the atmosphere, hope there’s another run next year to be back with the fans.

Are September memberships still available for next year, or am I right in thinking they sold out this year?

Sold out last 2 years. The club released some more September memberships in January this year.
Maybe there’s some not renewed over the offseason that are again offered to existing members.

With continued success over the years and now a premiership, reserved seating membership with decent seats will be harder to get.
That in turn will have a flow on affect to 3 game membership with good seats also being reduced.

If you like your current seats but still would like to try and get a better one, i would rethink that strategy as it may backfire.
If you don't like your seats than that is different as you don't have much to lose.
Below image from the Lions membership site.
I can't recall them wanting a $100 deposit for membership before the release date.
Could stand corrected on this as i don't usually look this early.
It only mentions Priority 2 so possibly no September Memberships available until all automatic renewals happen.
Some may opt out or not renew so could be some available after that process finished.

A bit misleading to new people applying.
Mentions "a reserved seat of your choice" better to say "a reserved seat of your choice from available seating"

I've been a September member for 30+ years and never bought a grand final ticket, mainly because I've been scared off by the cost of flights and accommodation. I'm now in my mid-50s and determined to see us play in a GF in person before I clock off.

Can anyone give me some advice on the best way someone in Bris can affordably go to the GF, ticket availability aside? Am I right in thinking you can buy flights that can be refunded within x days of the departure date? How far ahead should I be looking to do that? How do you go about doing refundable accommodation - AirBnB?

Buy refundable flights early as possible(refundable flights usually have a cancellation fee), same with accommodation.

Our group of 6 paid just over $1000.00 each for return flights and 4 nights accommodation at a good quality motel (Travel Lodge at Docklands.. who were way cheaper than others nearby) and we only booked it the week after the Giants win.

Get in early and I'm sure you'd get a great price.
