I heard some Cats fans throw up Christensen but I didn't think he did anything outside their first 3 goals; Lobbe's too old right; Joel Wilkinson & Hayden Jolly were decent enough but surely not...and I'm pretty much out of names now. Jeez looking like a really bad decision

Yeah and it's not like he was poor against the Pies. One of their few positives for the day I would have thought.
He has been really good this year.
McKennzie and Hibberd would have also both been deserving.
Maybe Hibberd leaking goals at the death went against him. He will get a nom if he keeps up his good form.
Easy tiger. I wouldn't say he was leaking goals.. Only one of Johnsons goals could have been prevented by Hibberd, and even that one was from one of the weakest free kicks in history resulting from a great acting job by Johnson.
The goal Johson kicked while lying on the ground was just pure luck and the one kicked close to the siren I don't even think Hibberd was on him.

How the hell did Breust win it? I was specifically watching his game because my Supercoach opponent had him on field, and I was very pleased when he butchered the ball time and time again. No way he deserved it.
Of particular note was his set shot at goal that he shanked and kicked directly to a Magpie defender. I stood up and cheered that one!
Also remember at one stage Whitecross getting the ball and commentators calling him Breust. Maybe the voters couldn't tell them apart either and just assumed he was some super player who got 33 touches and 3 goals.
