Another great win in Round 2, this time against The Dragons in the conditions we struggled with BIG TIME in Season 37. This puts us in top spot on the SFA ladder and gives Headless the best winning percentage as a captain in SFA HISTORY!

Conratulations to Wosh who played an absolute blinder in her milestone match. As we clearly play well in Wosh milestone matches we will be celebrating her 51st milestone match this week.
In addition, huge congratulations to Bluelegs on his 100th Demons and SFA match this week against the Roys.

Posting was well down on last week, but matches against the Wonders are generally big weeks so it's not surprising that this week was less active against the Dragons.
Wosh kicked off what was a very big week for her in her 50th Demons match with a team high 77 posts, followed closely by last week's leader, Gralin .
cats2rise was prolific in the match thread while also running an intra-club cricket match in the team thread. Larry "moginie " Gomes raised the bat with a half century in the match thread and scored a very naughty half century in the cricket as well.
tgrs and p4p1 continued their great start for the club sile while Headless , Scythe94 and cooney rounded out the top 10.

DT score v Head to Head score
Just about everybody in the top 10 DT also beat their opponents convincingly. Wosh doubled up on her top position from posting in DT and DERO , moginie and cats2rise all scored 100s. p4p1 and cartwright just missed the ton, finishing in the 90s.
Scythe94 , tgrs , Van_Dyke all had big games and Bluelegs also got a lot of the qooty and takes great form into his milestone match next week.

Head to head, moginie absolutely destroyed his starting opponent, finishing with a huge score of 200. Wosh and DERO finished above 150 and p4p1 , cats2rise and cartwright all finished above 120.
Headless sat back and watched the action in Round 1 but couldn't resist getting involved this week, also destroying his INT 2 opponent with our 7th 120 head to head score for the week. Only two players ranked this highly in our Round 1 voctory against the Wonders, highlighting the extent of our dominance over the Dragons this week.
Van_Dyke , tgrs and Scythe94 all had convincing head to head performances as well.

Goals
DERO and moginie 's performances were made even better by their impact on the scoreboard, leading the goal kicking with 4 goals and 3 goals respectively. Wosh celebrated her milestone with 2 goals, and Truetiger , Scythe94 and the hack at full forward. also kicked 2 each.
cooney and sante were among the goal kickers again, scoring one each, along with cats2rise. Headless snuck off the bench to kick one and even Van_Dyke and Bluelegs both slipped forward to snag a goal from defence.

Round 2 was a week of Dominance for the Demons midfield, not only racking up huge numbers in DT but also kicking 8 goals while only allowing 2 goals from the Dragons midfield.
Wosh (in her 50th match for the Demons), moginie , cats2rise and p4p1 all had impressive wins against their direct opponents which played a huge part in our big victory. Scythe94 had a tight contest in the battle of the rovers but we'll take his two goals over a slightly higher possession count anytime. After his standout performance in Round 1, Gralin decided to give the others their chance to shine this week.



Like the midfield, the Demons defence also had a great day against their direct opposition. The dominance was highlighted across the half back line where cartwright destroyed her direct opponent while Van_Dyke and Bluelegs got a lot of the qooty and even drifted forward to kick a goal each. manangatang , jmoo wan and Yakker held their opposition to a total of just three goals on the last line of defence.



DERO was one of the best on ground and the star up forward, racking up possessions at will and kicking 4 goals from the flank. tgrs presented well at centre half forward and cooney kicked a goal from the other flank. Truetiger beat his opponent well, finishing with two goals and we can always rely on sante to kick at lest one goal from his pocket. The hack at full forward fluked two goals before being dragged.



Both interchange players had great games. Marlowe got a lot of the ball for the second week in a row and Headless prevailed BIG TIME in the head to head battle of the 2nd interchange players, finishing with a goal and 122 points.

DERO features near the top of the rankings in DT, Head to Head, Goals, and marks. His stats are more like a midfielder than someone playing at half forward.
Despite starting on the interchange, Marlowe also features highly on the DT, Head to Head, Goal Kicking and Frees For lists and leads the team in Marks.
cats2rise's disappointment at having to witness Van_Dyke feature in the DT, Head to Head and Marks leaderboard lfrom Centre Half Back will be balanced by the satisfaction of seeing his own name on the leaderboard in significantly more categories. And hitouts isn't even on that list.
