The experts so to speak have as little idea as the rest of us as to ladder position, take us and Port as an example during last years preseason predictions. Looking at your list can you make top 4, possibly. In my honest opinion you are in with us in that group from 3rd-12th this year, which in all honesty looks like it could be really tight.

Wow going through the posts. What the hell? Macrae was sensational in the first half and good after that. Boyd was rucking in the centre then pushing forward - he worked his arse off today.


Unreal in the first half and stitched up by poor teammates in the 2nd half. Super game IMO. Might have looked different on tv.

The tall (Roughead or Roberts) who replaced him would've rucked. Two shots at goal, 8 disposals, 3 marks and 3 hitouts is pretty terrible for a guy who played a full game.

Will probably be shot down and firstly I will say I've been a fab of big red but I think Roughead is the better choice can go in the ruck if our ruckman goes down, can swing back if we are exposed for height and has a better fitness base than red to present higher up the ground allowing boyd to stay deeper

Macrae was great, overcooked a couple of kicks heading inside 50 which was uncharacteristic and he missed a good chance at a goal but his work in tight was super. His step in heavy traffic and quick hands stood out.

True but roughie did have 15 disposals 5 hit outs and a goal v the Dees. So better than reds performance today. Just think roughie has more runs on the board than red

Just about over the Toyd ruck experiment. He was totally knackered today. Taking the kid out of our forward line and throwing him to the wolves in one on one ruck situations, against experienced rucks, beggars belief to me. He will get injured for sure. Whilst he may have the physical attributes to ruck he is still very raw. Let him focus on his forward craft. Leave him forward.

Give the ruck duties to Minno, BTC, Roughie or Big Red. They can be draughthorses of our squad. Toyd rucking is like Phar Lap pulling the poop cart.
