Some poor stuff in defence but it all started in the centre clearances. Once we won there in the 2nd half we did well.

That said the defence was very messy. Marsh is well off the pace as far as I'm concerned and Langdon was very sloppy. Frost was golden and played his role. Our best players were the hard workers: Varcoe, Blair, Sidebottom, Adams, Witts and Frost.

Varcoe had 14 touches today, pretty quiet by his standards. What a terrible game. Wouldn't you agree?

I saw what a great game Varcoe played particularly in terms of the pressure he puts on opposition and that would be backed up by the "pressure acts" stat if it was available. Unlike you I don't let a player's mistakes hide his value to the team - a value that's backed up by his stats. When people don't see the positives all you can show them is stats. Be happy to sit down and watch the replay with any of Langdon's knockers and talk about all the good things he did whilst they talk about the bad. I know who'll be talking the most.
