People need to stop worrying about our picks. We don't have one but two elite talent recruiters in Walls and Woodland. Woodland in particular has a nack for finding left of field players (Dempsey and Humphries). I am looking forward to seeing the potential they saw in our three draft picks.

Calm down mate. We literally have one KPF as backup/depth and it's Voss. ****s with us a lot more structurally to have no KPF depth than no small forward depth. Simpsons, Reid, Narkle can slot in there for the time being. A small at pick 34 is having less impact than them.

We need a developing tall. No guarantee Voss makes it. Not sure what all the melts are all about. We essentially added 3 forwards. I definitely see Reid starting as a forward.

Carr is a medium forward.

The only area we didn’t address was a half back flank.

Don’t we have a small forward type in the academy for 2025ND?

We should be at 40, spot for Knobel and then Narkle as SSP.

Interesting draft for us but I’ll be honest outside the first pick I just trusted the team.
Getting Bolton early just made all the difference. If we think 12 months ago it was all about getting the picks to grab MacDonald.
Here we are are 12 months later treacy found a level that’s just unbelievably exciting ( oh and the mongrel is fun to watch )
Picks weren’t used and now we have Bolton.
As an add peel won the flag and a lot of freos youth and bit players went through a finals campaign. More pressure and a lot stepped up and now put pressure on our bottom 5.
I would have loved Allen but I think Reid fits more of a need
I trust Wallsy and his team to pick a few gems.

I’m hoping Ultan Kelm gets announced tomorrow
I’d love an Irish Half back

Jones, Voss, Sharp, Reidy, *, *

Those two spots are locked in for Knobel and SSP Narkle.

If Jones’ injury is long term. Get a couple of players down for training. Sam Toner would be one I’d have a look at.
