Nightmares are a bit sceptical. Cal mock draft on Monday will be the telling one. I’m looking forward to it. I think the threat is now from Sydney. They are looking for big bodied mids to replace Kennedy. Still confident we will get him

Out of the failure you have in that group not one of them were taking in the top 15 of the draft.

All 3 between 16 and 21. Leslie and Goddard were both the last selection of the first round.

Not one bust taken in the top 15 of the draft.

Not many sides are crazy enough to go for a KPB with a high pick either though.

Dunstan was not our second best mid though. No one had him in our best 22, and that was plain for everyone to see. He came into the team due to injuries to mids who we rate higher than him - Jones, Gresham, etc - and lost his place because the coach thinks that Bytel is potentially a better player.

Given the expectation that we will bring three midfielders into the club next week, it is smart list management to clean out depth players who are unlikely to ever get a game.

The coaches and umpires thought otherwise.

I don't think Dunstan's form, skill, etc. had anything to do with his exit. He kicked the door down to get back in the side, injuries or not. Seems like a personality clash with the boss (Ratten). One of them had to go and it wasn't going to be Ratten. Not this year anyway. Which is a bit of a worry from a management point of view. You'd think it could have been sorted. The Dees couldn't get him in the door quick enough. I wish him well.

He wouldn't play to team rules, he wouldn't try to play another position, couldn't kick, and wouldn't run both ways. He wasn't wanted by anyone. Went to Melbourne on a tiny contract to play at Cranbourne.
Bytel will be much better

He's not very committal with his draft order.
He lists only 4 definitely gone by pick 7.
He lists 10 that might be at pick 6.
He lists 12 that might go at pick 11.
The same 12 might go at pick 15.

His draft position for Owens remains at 10-30. He hasn't said why he slides up or down each time he personally ranks him, given he's not playing.
Rated outside 20 in september, 11 in october back to 19 in November.

He has listed 11 players who will be gone by pick 15.
Then he's listed 2 others that will be gone by pick 20.

When i look at his actual Phantom.
He hasn't included.
Rachelle who he predicts will go at 6.
Sinn , who he predicts will go at 15.
Goater , predicted at 16.
Butler, predicted at 17.
Van Rooyan predicted at 18.
Wilmot predicted at 20
or Sonsie predicted at 24.

If it was me i'd be asking to see their certificate before i put my bid in , excect those unruly ones, Owen's and Windhager who have outright refused.

Most definitely but I think we will have his draft range (late 2nd or early 3rd) is going to be where we don't have a pick.
