I think the last thing the league would try and do is push a team out, especially a long-term club like Boort.
They'd be more interested in adding clubs than losing any.

I didn’t say that the league would push anyone out but as we’ve seen lately clubs are certainly more proactive in potentially seeking out moves

Boort to Hay isnt? Dont think Loddon Valley is going to exist for much longer going forward. Still not much said about HDFL accepting Marong and Maiden Gully. Once they r gone the LVFL is stuffed, Besides Boort won the under 17 flag so have something to work with going forward. Injuries stuffed their season.

I would’ve thought boort far too strong for GRFL and LVFL despite being sub par in the NCFL

I can't see how mitiamo, calivil, serp, newbridge can all continue that long with no juniors. That's 4 clubs on life support, add the fact that marong and Maiden gully leave, I can't see how it continues
Yep Loddon Valley shot. For the sake of Pyramid Hill and perhaps a Bridgey/Inglewood merger NCFL need to get on the front foot and offer them an alternative. AFLCENTRALVIC dont seem to have any clue/motivation to engage in future planning so the league can help themselves. In saying that perhaps Pyramid/bridgey/iwood have no inclination to go north. Just a thought. On a side note population decline starting to hit the area Bridgey wont field a cricket side in Upper Loddon this season reducing the comp to 4 sides Boort/Kingower/Arnold/Burn, Calivil cant raise a tennis side and Korong Vale Bowls have finished. Unless some proacyive thinking occurs footy will soon be in this boat in the area as well.

Certainly not defending any team in anyway but all teams rort it in some variation.

Jobs are created for out of towners that have nicer pay rates, houses get done up, player x pays for a beer with a $20 note and gets $300 change. You think of it and it's probably happening at all clubs across the way in varying forms and sizes of rorting. The clubs that say they aren't probably just need to get better at it unfortunately as it seems to be the way its all going.

As I said not pinning this on one team but this is a problem across the entirety of local footy. The salary cap just doesn't work.
This is just not true. Many clubs plain and simply do not have the finances to breach the cap even if they wanted to. A lot of well run clubs with solid finances put the money into other areas rather than plowing it all into the senior footy side. A much more sustainable model in my opinion

Boort’s Nathan Twigg has gone back to his home club in Bears Lagoon Serpentine

Will be hard to replace, good ruckmen are hard to find, 3rd in last years league b+f. missed half this season through injury, a major reason for Boorts ordinary year.

Kelly must be a very good footballer to slot straight into South Barwon side I didn’t know he was that good

Has St Arnaud signed and/or lost anyone? Seems pretty quiet there. You'd think finishing bottom with a low % that there would be a fair bit of activity.
