I just hope it's someone who can read a live read with out treating the listener like a mindless money bag who just wants to deal with "a good bloke" or "my cousin" or some bloke who's "fat, so make sure you get someone else from that place to come out."

If I didn't want to buy a caravan/car/financial services/incontenance pad after the first 30 seconds, I'm not likely to change my mind after 2 to 3 minutes of rambling.

What would be the most Port friendly station?
SAFM - Rabbit, Amber, Cossie and Lewie (who does Cossie follow? The rest are all from sydney.).... Hamish and Andy (Not likely to be Port)
MMM - Kym, Ali & Dzelde (Crows, Crows and robots)... Wil & Lehmo (Hawthorne and no idea about Wil)
MIX - John, Jodie and Snowy (Port, Crows, Port)... Sean Craig Murphy (Crows)........Station Manager - George Fiacchi.
NOVA - Jodie, Jules and Fitzy (Is Jodie Port? I know she did the before the game stuff REALLY BADLY. Was she a Port girl? Not sure about Jules. Fitzy is all crows)...Cal and Akmal (wouldn't think Port feature there)

Looks like MIX is the most Port friendly.... Possibly because of the Station Manager.

God help us if it is Rowie. As a Crowie I hate him. Co Co Co Cachoo he pisses me off. Although he is a good footy coach.

Anyone listen to Rooch on Sundays with Leif Forrest. I would say Leif would be good. I dont mind Ditmar either. Or Daniel Norton. He is a Port man, I believe has a role at the club, as well as managing the Rundle Mall Footlocker.

Ginever would be good, hope that comes to fruition.

Maybe get someone who is not a parochial SA supporter but a footy supporter. Not everyone who lives in SA follows Port or the Crows.

The minority do, and KG and Cornes talk so much crap it is annoying they really have no idea ... living in SA compared to VIC is bad footy wise as in VIC it is about the AFL and all teams not 2 team who 2 radio commentators think are the only teams in the AFL.

Yeah - I don't get it either. I stopped listening a few years ago now. Not only the KG & Cornes, and Rowe factor, but I also got sick of listening to the same idiot callers getting a run, then someone intelligent with a point worth debating would call and get shot down or cut off. It wasn't worth tolerating all the crap and bs advertising to catch one or two decent questions being asked of a guest being interviewed every so often.

Depending who gets the gig, I might give it another shot. I occasionally listen to SEN on the net, but I guess the lack of a genuine alternative and their good ratings gives them carte blanch.

Someone from Port should ring and then ask the hosts of the show and everybody who rings in and says going back to our roots is wrong and we need to spread our wings, should then be asked what would it take to make them buy a membership? They should then be forced to make a $200 deposit into a trust fund so that when the changes are made the money goes to buy a membership.

Thanks for allowing me to reply to the thread as an opposition fan.
As a long time listener to the sports show on 5aa(only because there is no other sports station to listen to) I along with a lot of other non Crow or Port fans would switch off if S Rowe was the replacement. The guy is an absolute t osser and cant put 2 words together. I would be happy if G Cornes got the flick as well. I really believe that 2 of D Norton , M Soderstrom, L Forrest, C Dittmar or even Greg Sanders would have no trouble whatsoever replacing both KG and Cornes. I have also heard Tim Ginever speak at StKilda functions(when we play at AAMI) and the guy is a very very good speaker. I really hope its not Rucci or Bone or David Wildey (spelling) as well.

But honestly some of us need to stop being so precious. Who cares if they are pro or against Port. Kids are going to be listening to em anyway, so the only people that listen would be adults and adults would have already decided who they are going to support.

I have never felt the negativity in the show some of our great posters hear have, I thought most is tongue in cheek. But if you don't like it, don't listen, they'll get the message.

Part of our problem in Adelaide can be our Victim mentality and the world is against us. eg AFL, now the Soccer, the GP.

Let's just move on, get on community radio and promote your own Power broadcast I would listen
