Why is Tredrea being a trump supporter not able to be discussed lol

The guy is looking more loony by the minute, and he hasn't even sacked Hinkley, the one thing we voted for him to do

He's an RFK supporter. We all knew what his political viewpoints were when we voted him in.

Does it matter in his role as a football expert on our board?

Our board is full of wealthy businesspeople and our men's team is full of wealthy young men.

I guarantee if we were in the US a whole bunch of them would have voted for Trump, possibly even a majority. A lot of them will vote to make Dutton PM at the next election.

Like a number of prominent retired footballers around the world who were sent round the bend by COVID and radicalised by social media algorithms, he’s a fullblown crank magnet on the Pete Evans path now (vaccines, climate change, dudebro christianity, sungazing, the works).

Which, ok, cool, whatever, he’s very publicly tanked his finances because of it and that’s his prerogative, but as far as his ongoing board participation is concerned, his battle to establish credibility and make in-roads with his fellow board members in trying to overcome the glorification of Hinkley mediocrity is now trending back to zero if it wasn’t already (which is objectively true whether you’re prepared to personally look past his off-Broadway views, or even agree with them, or not).

But then I was recently shown a few DM’s where he repeatedly defended Cripps’ recent ‘Wingard = Rozee/Butters!’ comments, so it’s all rather moot beyond Hinkley dodging myriad bullets to scuttle back under the fridge for the umpteenth time.

Tredrea to the board was always a pointless exercise because Hinkley had just signed a contract and the next coach is already been picked. Its all going to happen end of 2025 with or without him. The only thing that was gonna change our course is finishing bottom 4 or winning a Premiership.

Also Tredrea is likely to be swayed by Koch just as he is by Trump. He is probably more likely to fight against member control after seeing how Koch operates up close.

So rather than wait until August they'll announce Daddy Donuts' contract extension earlier. I've posted previously that I expect Koch too announce Hinkley's next contract extension during our midseason bye at the latest.
If they do that, I'd be disappointed if Port fans don't leave a rather smelly deposit on the doorstep at Alberton Oval. Enough is enough you clowns - we demand a new coach!!!
