Imagine if the Charles Sturt council listed these peoples contact details including phone (and sometimes home phone) numbers on their website and we all took the opportunity to have a chat about how they voted.

Man that would be something.

His role in finding us a new home has been questioned, I would have thought it obvious I’m talking about us landing Thebby

True true.

Ok based on this element, well the responsibility did fall on to him considering he was the one who made West Lakes not a viable proposition to stay long term through his previous roles. And he did fail at his first two prospects and almost failed at this one. Which, I am almost certain he thought he'd get the aquatics centre across the line and then the Brompton option. We only conceded to go to thebby after his first two failures and then even thebby became hard over night.

There is no doubt there was talk prior to 2020 of plans to find a new home. So it wouldn't have been a new agenda item when he walked through the door. And I am sure he would have had long conversations with Fagen and Chapman in his tenure at the Sanfl as they were demolishing WL around the club.

Isn't there a possibility that people who bought in the new development were told that the area would become open space at a point in the future?
Well not really. Because if the sanfl wasn't moving in the crows would stay

I can just imagine a selling agent waving towards the oval claiming it'll become open space. I'd bet it wasn't written anywhere though

You should take up comedy

Has absolutely zero to do with finding us a new home, the fact you’re even going there and you can’t acknowledge that he has actually delivered with so many obstacles is very embarrassing for you

hey hey hey....im not having a go. calm the farm. In fact, unlike our friend Wayne, I have an open mind. Im happy to be told I am wrong and the reason why. No need to attack my friend.

I live in Portugal remember so finding accurate up to date information is harder.

But you’ve gone searching for reasons why Olsen shouldn’t be given some credit for getting us Thebby, some are just silly.

The club has had to deal with 2 govts, 3 councils, ridiculous NIMBYS and the end result we are going to have a great facility on the edge of town.

Posters on here have slammed him along the way, it’s only reasonable to now acknowledge what he and the club have achieved.
