The first video was great for showing how they work, super slow mo of everything missing, but as a highlights package, New Japan has some work to do.

Great O Khan was handcuffed to the barricade at ringside for over half an hour as well. At the tail end of that match and for the whole main event. What a rib lol.

Mark Davis beats Evil and advances to the New Japan Cup Semi Finals! There was a ref bump and a massive brawl between the United Empire and House of Torture during the match. United Empire got the upper hand, and Davis got the dub.

Minoru Suzuki pinned KENTA in a tag match.

Sanada beat Naito in the main event and advances to the semis. Sanada leaves Los Ingobernables and joins another faction "Just 5 guys".

It's a good match that has you shouting at your tv. HOOK THE ****ING LEG DAVIS!!!

I never really thought he could win that after SANADA's turn the other night, but man they made it look possible.

SANADA's look is infinitely better now.

I think SANADA has to win the tournament. Finlay can't come in on top of Bullet Club and immediately be successful - he needs some turmoil so he can start weeding out Bullet Club. Kick out House of Torture, kick out ELP, deal with it's originals like Fale - is he still there or not? From a local perspective it'd be cool to see Fale kicked out, assemble his army in TAMASHII, then head over, adding TAMASHII to New Japan canon in a way it hasn't so far. I doubt that's likely though.

Jay White should be a big loss for NJPW, and babyface Jay White would have been great, but he was so ****ing stale by the end of his NJPW run and the constant ****ing talking during his matches, including the incredibly weird mocking of crowds that were not allowed to cheer, was so dire. so having Finlay come in, just kick arse and let Gedo do the talking has been so so good. really happy for Finlay who has had a weird NJPW career.
