Whatever happened to this: On Wednesday 21 November, AFC and Puma will host an event at Rundle Mall to celebrate the new partnership and showcase the exciting new Puma Crows apparel range with sponsored players. More details to come.

Somebody should e-mail them or ask them on their Facebook page.

I'd do it but I'm a Port supporter and it'd feel offensive.

Sincere appologies but the Puma event that earlier this month was mentioned as happening today, is not on. No date is set at this stage

Think the Crows have got more important things on their mind.

They had received a number of enquiries to their twitter account, regarding the starting time of the event. It seemed like the guy running the twitter account no idea about the event. Very poorly handled.

Its been postponed to next year apparently.

I think it could just be the fact that hes referencing a post made by Silent Alarm earlier. He compared Adidas to XBlades
It's just Blades, not XBlades. The X is just their logo, like the Nike tick or the Adidas stripes.

I used to think it was Oasics.

Was it ever part of the name? Cos Ive heard a few blokes at Rebel say it as "X Blades"
No, it's never been part of their name.
However, they do use the X as part of their marketing.
http://kossports.com.au/

Established in Australia in 1989, Blades is best known primarily for its football boots, with the brand having developed the very first bladed outsole. All of the major football boot brands have tried to copy this patented sole design but have still been unable to achieve the same level of performance and protection. This is a testament to Blades’ technology. Since then Blades has prided itself on its innovative technology and design, making it a market leader for bladed sole football boots and a substantial competitor for major international brands. The past decade has witnessed the evolution of Blades from a small Aussie brand with a revolutionary product, designed primarily for injury protection, comfort and playing longevity, to a high performance all Australian football boot company, with its new and revolutionary Bionic football boot, that is worn by many world class rugby league, rugby union, AFL and football players.

They call themselves Blades. Not X-Blades.

Nope. They would have just been mistaken like you were. I hear a lot of people say XBlades which is probably due to poor advertising on Blades' behalf. I've always thought the X should feature on top of the text, similar to Nike, so this problem doesn't occur.

I know, but I call it a tick.
I'm about to do a phone interview with a uni. When they say hi, should I reply with "sewage rat," and then tell them that's just what I call "g'day?"

Yeah.

What about the Adidas outlines of three slowly shortening, angular-topped towers.

Or the McDonalds two-upside-down u's.

It's not a big deal. Just drop it.
