The collar is terrible. It's massive and covers nearly all the logos. The proper season polo will be the same, just different colour.

Yeah I know. I'm really not too fussed about the collar personally, I think it looks acceptable. It's the grey I really don't like, it doesn't go well with brown and gold at all.

Can't be - all got the 2012 collar. They may have grabbed a retail away jumper as Essee suggested to even the sponsors out.
