AFL put this up for TOTW, it's like being taunted with the best jumper! :(

I don't mean Richmond should replace the new clash, but Essendon could do it, or even Adelaide could come out with a fluro pruple kit.
Food for thought anyway.

Camo made of lions has returned. The extra gold bits seem pointless but I guess they wanted to make it different enough from the home jumper so people would buy it. I think it's alright, nothing too offensive but at the same time it could be a bit more subtle.

Clubs don't need fluro kits. They just need something different to their main kit so the two kits can hypothetically be used against each other and avoid 80-90% of the similarities. That's the easiest way to ensure that their entire kit set will be fine against the opposition. Richmond fits the brief. One main kit, one alternate kit, and change shorts and/or socks for both.

Don't mind the side-panels, like the use of both the Anzac & 7th Brigade logos, but lose the Lest we forget Text & the tramp stamp.

Plus, teams like Essendon cannot go for a red clash due to their constitution and the AFL thinking it's a dark colour (grey is not a suitable clash colour).
Their constitution says it must be a red sash on a black background unless otherwise instructed by the governing body of the competition in which they are playing (to paraphrase). So if the AFL instructs that no team may wear a sash, Essendon can wear something else without breaching its constitution.
You could also argue that the current jumper still contains a black background under the red sash.

Did not know about the bolded part. Thanks.
