Yeah I reckon inverse too. Especially the way they keep wording it as Red & Black, rather than Black & Red. I might be looking into the wording too much though.

Is red a light enough colour to be a clash jumper though??

Depending on who they wear it against, it should be.

It's just we keep hearing, as recently as the other day in the article about the Hawks power ranger jumper, that the AFL want a predominately white clash strip. So is it just the bullshit "tradition" argument again that'll allow them to have a red one? (assuming of course it is a red based jumper, could be white, I guess we don't know yet)

Where is Richmond's white clash strip?

Teams who aren't Richmond and Essendon, and have to have a white strip, should just copy the Crows and formerly the Bulldogs. But just have each jumper as an alternate.

Ie, the Eagles have the peril as their 'second clash' but a white one officially listed as the clash. However, they only ever wear the white one as a last solution – and in the Eagles case, that would basically only be the Tiges at the 'G at most?

Hawthorn are sort of doing this in 2016 – they'll basically have two clashes, the brown strip and the Indigenous one, and they'll be their go-to for any clashes. Only when they're absolutely forced to will they wear their white monstrosity.

Nah we wear the wings against the Tigers away. We wear the clash against Freo "away" Dogs away and Brisbane away, that's it. Peril would work for all 3 of those, so we don't need white at all, but we all know it's here to stay.

"The kids love it":confused::confused::mad:

Silent Alarm meant in an alternative universe mate.

I've suggested the same thing elsewhere - introduce the yellow peril, but keep the white as an option (that they never actually have to wear) to keep the AFL happy.

Eagles wear Royal Blue v Richmond at G, so they wouldn't need a white jumper there.

Ok, so tonight I popped in to see the AFL store and noticed the Star Collingwood jumpers for next year look fantastic.
The collar in person compliments the jumper so well, best Pies jumper since 2008.
Also it has mesh side panels.

Groupie_ may find this interesting, the tigers one the collar and cuffs were slightly darker than the jumper and whilst the jumper was faded it was very minor and I had to really compare the colours so they have tried to make a difference.
Still not perfect, but an improvement and I half wonder if it's actually the light reflection on the material that gives it that effect?

And actually, not much else for 2016 in the store, didn't see any new ISC yet.

From what I saw, it wasn't ISC-Port black but it wasn't like some of the images you have posted here from this season.
I take it they have tried to fix it but I'm starting to think it's the way the light reflects onto the material.
Do you have any night game images where it looks as bad as the day time?
