I think they'd be popular.

Love it! Do you have a mock up with royal wings too?

Either way, the Coasters need a yellow jumper back in their regular rotation - not just for special occasions.

Would be too much yellow for mine.
need the thick side stripe on the shorts to help out with that. with our majority black socks we'd get away with it and imo it would look awesome on a player wearing the socks up and also wearing black boots

That cutout head is the pits, but this raises a good point.

Because of the priority clash West Coast have with the Western Bulldogs, navy wings would get the tick for its obvious navy socks pairing - hence why the current white strip, and all previously proposed, uses navy. Eliminating royal out of the moderate clashes with Brisbane and North Melbourne would also be favourable to the AFL, who will ultimately make this decision.

However, royal would be preferable for Fremantle (unnecessary as it is). On that form, one could anticipate the AFL will likely wish to see a new clash jumper aiding Richmond and Adelaide away - which royal helps with. I can't see the Eagles protesting this arrangement if the peril returns, to capitalise on its marketing equity.

So, will a peril clash work to combat its 3 first-choice tasks as a bastard, or the 3 other potential clashes with the element of heritage?

I'd rather the Eagles sacrifice their one uniform constant - sock design - to ensure the royal winged-peril edges navy. (You can put your house on white shorts.) Yellow socks are just not footy, so why not hoops?

My brain hurts, so I can't imagine how yours feels.

I like this idea though.

I don't see whats so LOL about it, that's how the almighty NFL (that organisation the AFL dreams of becoming) does things.

It's LOL because of how logical it is. You can't seriously believe the AFL and Logic can coexist can you?
