Back when I was a kid I used to collect the team posters and I remember they had one for each kit, so I guess that's one reason why the do it.

a bloke came into work today who works for X BLADES and said that they will be making St Kildas kit this year. he said they would be keeping the onfield and of field stuff pretty much the same as BLK. apparently he only found out a couple of days ago that the deal was done!
Hopefully they use better material.
Though, I think their NRL teams are still using the same material.

Blades sounds more likely than Puma in the time frame they we're given IMO. Using BLK merch with a diff logo sounds realistic too, St Kilda out of all the clubs would be the most desperate to get new gear out the door considering they were going with a new manufacturer for this season anyway etc etc.

Exactly. Only reason Richmond got Puma was by bringing the deal forward a year.
