But come on bro, they lost their home shorts identity and they really showed the AFL who's boss with the inverse!Everything about this North jumper move is botched
Making the blue strip the home was a pointless selling out of their history and the silver stroke on the numbers looks like an after thought.
Now the numbers on their traditional strip have been changed to blue for no reason. That was something cool and uniquely north that's been thrown away for... uh... I'm sure there was a good reason.
And there's silver on those numbers too. Lol. It's on the logo so we must shoehorn it onto the playing kit!
This on top of the sideways move that was the logo change. If there was anything to change for North Melbourne's visual identity it was to move to a "bounding roo" based logo and the re-introduction of the bounding roo guenseys in some way.
Yeah that's is a genuine shocker i reckon
Precursor to a one off design for the senior team in the 125 year celebration match against Carlton in May?
New Jumpers for 2018 threadNo idea where to put this but getting in reallll early.
From the Saints Reimagine Moorabbin fundraiser: Donors who contribute over $500 will have their name featured on a commemorative guernsey which will be worn by players in the opening round for the 2018 season
Stripes still don't touch the cuffs. That's the problem. The jumper looks way too white. Widen the stripes and the jumper instantly looks a lot darker and balanced, would probably give North more leeway for choosing their shorts.
Has the Herald Sun 'whisper' from this morning been mentioned in here? AFL logo could be on the way out for more sponsorship room
No it hasn't, but I don't see the AFL making way.Has the Herald Sun 'whisper' from this morning been mentioned in here? AFL logo could be on the way out for more sponsorship room
Silent Alarm has been saying that for quite some time.Stripes still don't touch the cuffs. That's the problem. The jumper looks way too white. Widen the stripes and the jumper instantly looks a lot darker and balanced, would probably give North more leeway for choosing their shorts.
Instead they flip them around and **** up their original jumper.
It must hurt to be a North fan.
I would think soAre we expecting North to do a Fremantle and only wear either full royal or full white? Probably was no need for the white jumper tonight, but maybe they don't want to mix and match shorts?
I second thisEverything about this North jumper move is botched

I can't see the AFL logo disappearing completely especially after they expanded it onto the numbers a few years back, what I can see is a sponsor logo wrapped around the top or bottom of the AFL logo like seen with NAB on the women's jumpers.Has the Herald Sun 'whisper' from this morning been mentioned in here? A sponsor wrapped on the AFL logo would be Toyota or an AFL sponsor, not a club sponsor, so that kind of defeats the purpose of giving clubs more advertising space.I can't see the AFL logo disappearing completely especially after they expanded it onto the numbers a few years back, what I can see is a sponsor logo wrapped around the top or bottom of the AFL logo like seen with NAB on the women's jumpers.
The eagles in the sanfl have sponsors on the back of their shorts and it looks pretty ordinary.I would rather them sell spaces on the back of the shorts first before even contemplating a big move like that.
The Eagles in general look pretty ordinary..The eagles in the sanfl have sponsors on the back of their shorts and it looks pretty ordinary.
To differentiate the player issued jumpers from the retails in the shops.Am I the only one that has a STRONG dislike for the little watermark logos on the guernseys? Adelaide and Brisbane wearing them today. Is there a reason they do this?
Adelaide now also uses watermarks on the new retails. To differentiate the player issued jumpers from the retails in the shops.
Really? Well that's ****ing stupid if true.Adelaide now also uses watermarks on the new retails.
