I don't think the concept is that bad, it's cool that they can mix things up a bit without going full Hawthorn, and I'm glad to see that it's more of a blue-grey than metallic silver. But what a fall from grace for Nike, in terms of cut, template, materials, etc.

That doesn't make it a universal no-go. Just means some companies are willing to do or it see the logic in it - Nike, Qantas, WCE.
Just a thought - was the style-guide issued with the new logo, or previous to it? If the latter, perhaps it's been updated.

- remove blue lines on jumper
- change to plain white shorts
- use navy socks

Perhaps they could wear their old clash socks - navy with a hoop of white.

It’s like they’ve just plucked the tops from their warehouse stock and heat pressed the logos on them. Doesn’t look like they’re designed specifically for footy.

One of the things that stops me from watching Fox Footy games is the triangular flags. Why can't they just be rectangles for Christ's sake! With triangles it limits what they can do.

Just saw the Carlton clash in Rebel. The 3D effect of the logo works better than it does on the home up close. Didn't have the blue lines on the sides though.
