Doesn't look to be in two pieces like the IR one, so I'd say it isn't. Probably something we'll see on warm up tops next year though.

Anyone know what the collar on the crows home guernsey is going to look like?

It’s all in the licensing costs - the NRL take a huge chunk of the sale price (15-20%) which is $30 on a jersey, which the manufacturers pass onto the seller, who then pass it onto the consumer. An ISC Teamwear jersey for a local club costs about $45 and they’re the same quality as the replicas, put the licensing fee on top of that and you’re looking at Rebel or wherever paying $70-$80 wholesale.

If you buy through your club and you’re a member they usually come down to about $130 which I don’t think is unreasonable.

15-20 years ago the old cotton ones and the original sublimated league jerseys were $90-$110, but they have just kept going up from there (who knows why though as there has never been a reason given).

The material is not exactly the same as PI material, it is certainly a mass produced cheaper material, rather then the specific stuff for PI's.

That's an interesting idea. It's good they're opening the competition to everyone, though since the brief includes PR work it'll be tough for them to award the work to anybody who is not aboriginal. Hopefully we'll see designs from this board get up.

Not really...

Oh, I thought the pdf text was the same as the website, so I just skimmed it.

Oh well, hopefully they'l get an established artist who does a bit better than many we've seen over the last few years

That Blue singlet is quite possibly one of the cheapest looking pieces of crap I've seen for an AFL team, hopefully the crows don't get something similar. The Black and white ones look good, but that shade of blue is gross.

I wish our training singlets were blue and white.
