Minor observation - going by the updated photos on the St Kilda site and against the AFL and club logos, it looks like the stripes on the clash jumper are thicker (a little consistency with the red and black panels being wider on the homer jumper).

I know Saints fans are up in arms over the shoulder panels, but my god, that's nice.

And if we shifted the St Kilda logo in line with the AFL logo... 😍

“Multi-year deal” with KFC for Port. These sponsors are here to stay for the long haul. You can’t put the toothpaste back in the tube.

It's a shame, feels similar to the slippery slope professional rugby (and previously traditional) went down... which now include bum sponsors.

New Macron Port playing shorts look pretty nice, it’s cool to see the return of the two-stripe. Just wish the PAFC logo was centred.

This looks Reebok brown, yuck. I wish the stripes on these shorts were white honestly, this means they’ll need to make a special pair of shorts for when we wear the PBs. Also the stripes being so far apart when the logo is so close to one of them is annoying as anything.

Collingwood Members forum tonight at 6pm.

If we don't have any sort of announcement on the sponsor for the Training Centre today, I would be willing to bet we won't see anything apparel related until the New Year. I think someone had already mentioned earlier in the thread that after the tumultuous trade period for Coll, they may be holding out an announcement on the sponsors so they're keeping some 'good news' up their sleeves.

Certainly won't be tuning in, but if anyone does, be sure to update :)

Closer look at the Macron collar.

On sponsors above the numbers, only Geelong, Richmond and West Coast didn't have anything like establishment dates, logos, heritage marks etc above the number anyway so they are basically replaced with sponsors. Port Adelaide though will still be having 1870 on the back of the jumper however it will be on the collar up the back.

I think we won't get all teams having these sponsors though. As seen, Hawthorn have released their new guernsey with no sponsor above the number (and not much space for one either). The St Kilda jumpers lower sponsor were extremely low so that catered for the above sponsor number whilst the Suns (who are also with NB) had the sponsors in the usual position so I'm not too sure if they'll have an above number sponsor especially seeing there was the GCS logo in the usual spot above the number. If they removed the yellow bib then I wouldn't have been surprised.

We had '1859' above the numbers in Round 1, which was covered by the Ford logo from Round 2 onwards:

The 1859 is in a light grey, so you need to zoom right in on the GPS pouch of Dala's jumper to see it.

This is what it looked like at SANFL level in 2019. Although the Prison Bars has a white collar rather than a black one.

As good as this looks the non centred (as in straddling the black and white) sponsor we will get ruins the symmatery of the whole thing, even in the 2020 shot above Peppers white box botches it.

Cant say i mind the shoulder panels too much TBH. Would prefer NB over Dare on the neck but meh... Ill live

Are we going to have people trying to catch the footy in a bucket now? Thanks for the sponsorship KFC: my son will be over the moon with any promo goodies!

Like many, I'm sad above-number sponsors look to have become entrenched.
How I picture you watching footy next season

I truly love the actual design, it's a repro of the strip we wore in the 30s and 40s. The position of the logos do let it down, but on this occasion the white shoulders add to the design instead of being a distraction.
