La Trobe is the other premier partner, be curious if they didn't feature on the kits

They feature everywhere else. Polo sleeve, emails, press conference advertising board.

Doesn't necessarily mean they will be on the kit though. I'm thinking WorkSafe at the Western Bulldogs for all those years through the late 00s to mid 10s. Similar sponsor arrangement. Essentially everywhere but the kit.

It's just so unnecessary, could have been black text on the yellow... instead they spew up a huge blue box on the jumper.

That would work for the clash yeah. But it’s no different to nib and bingle having their green boxes. I think it’s just that the green worked so much better than blue.

I guess so, but La Trobe is specifically listed as a "Premier Partner", CGU was in this category as well. Guess we'll see!

No idea what the Doggies sponsorship structure is like, but currently they don't seem to differentiate much between them (according to their site).

Didn't WorkSafe appear for a few rounds? I'm sure that's right

Loving that look of that collar for two reasons

1. Any sort of two-tone trim (it's been super rare since ribbed collars and cuffs went out in the early 2010s)
2. An introduction of red to the collar on a predominantly black Essendon guernsey for the first time since the 1996 Reenactment Game

Why on earth does the UA stitching on the side of the jumper have to be so damn thick? A weird pattern to it as well..

Having said that I don’t mind the red piping on the collar.

Re-looking at the bombers tops and they’re actually terrible, so many things are bad with it, maybe because I don’t follow them but gees, very shit in all honesty. Also can they really not come up with something good for the away or clash whatever that repetitive red kit that they have been doing with the black lines… really. Maybe it’s just me but disappointing for you bomber fans
