I know its been discussed before, but WC should find a way to deal with the eye detailing and have a solid blue eagle on their clash. Yellow on yellow looks very unbalanced
Made this updated version a while back. Still not perfect but definitely could worm

I just realised they actually printed blue over the shoulders

Odd that the wings don't appear to match up on the sides here, but the reverse view suggests otherwise...

Judging by the difference in colour I’d assume this was a prototype with no back wings and they’ve had to add them on in Pjotoshop. You’d think the person at NB trusted to do this would be good enough at Photoshop to make the texture of the guernsey not interfere with the intended colour of the design but that’s another story (hire me pls)

The blue on yellow works on the old logo cause it’s stylised. But for the new one that’s more of a realistic depiction, it’s been designed deliberately to have the blue act as shading, hence why they haven’t gone for the inverted look (save for that one instance of course). Doesn’t look anywhere near as good as the outlined one.

Looks to be true from the leaks, then. I think if they followed the trend of The AFLW, ditched the white shorts, and went with black shorts with the white clash, it'd look better. Too much White looks weak.

White shorts are definitely needed sometimes, though. I agree to an extent though that a team should only really opt for the all-white top and bottom kit if there needs to be a clear contrast (e.g. a Carlton home game vs Geelong, Cats should wear white shorts with their regular white-based guernsey; maximum contrast, light and dark) AND if white is actually one of their colours (for example I don’t think Essendon should wear white shorts, if I had it my way). But teams like Geelong and North are different imo because their traditional home guernseys are white-based so white shorts flows well for away games that actually present a clash.

But I think that the most effective colour guernsey for a clash is red. Only Sydney and GC have red home guernseys so apart from those two, red works as a great clash for teams with red as part of their team colours: Bombers, Saints, Dogs, Crows, Dees, and to some extent Freo if they chose to incorporate their original tri-colour look. Sydney and GC don’t even need clash strips for many games at all, besides for when they play each other.

Red works well because it’s sort of neither dark or light. Same goes for royal blue albeit to a lesser extent.

I hate the collar, WB member, and I just don't get combining the 70's neck line with this jumper.

The over thick Asics collar doesn't help.

Yeah, this feels like it will only last one season based on the feedback. Not sure why we just didn't stick with the red-collar. The 2021/22 jumpers were our best in years, especially with the reappearance of the hoops on the long sleeve.
