Those wouldn't be playing shorts if that is what you mean. Just from the cut they look like track shorts which are usually pretty short.

I am fairly sure it was from last year as I remember there was some talk about it when it came up on here. Could have been a Fox Footy photoshoot and perhaps there were plans to wear it for Fox's 'Retro Round'. Would have been cool but obviously didn't happen in the end.
They've been continuing with community footy ever since leaving the pro scene I belive

Also it's all Belgravia sports in Aus, NB doesn't make their own kit. Would be bizarre for Belgravia to have it on one and not the other 4 considering the cost

It appears these jumpers are reversible. What you're seeing here is most likely the 'inside out' view of the collar.

So just did a quick snoop on all the NB teams shops, the Lions, Suns and Saints are all using the on-field template (not reversible) the Eagles and Dees are using the new training template.
Eagles retail versions also have the older style collar. Seems like the player issues guernseys have the more basic V neck collar.
