Oh god... We're actually wearing this... I mean it's for charity which is good, but it's the ugliest jumper in the history of footy.
The bird design is nice. They grey is poor though, should have been play with grey elements on top. The 3D poppies look absolutely awful.
So north wearing a darker than usual jumper v carlton?
Common sense dictates Carlton will be forced to wear their clash strip

I want to laugh but was it designed by one of the sick kids I wonder? Only explanation there really is.
It makes you think if they brought out a blue variation of the Bounding Roo strip then it would sell like hotcakes and thus vastly more money to the Good Friday Appeal. Whereas this one is a hard buy unless you're an avid collector or just pity the kids enough in which case good on you if you do buy it for that reason.
doesn't look like we're selling them, i imagine they'll be auctioned off (and absolutely shite jumpers that will never be seen again are a collectors dream)
guarantee there's a plan to use the bounding roo for something else soon enough, and it's about time we've gone whole hog with a unique jumper for the round.

the only good thing I can say about norths good friday strip is that it’s for the kids and it’s for an amazing cause.
Gotta applaud that 100% of auction profits are going to the charity. The fact that it's a dogshit design and not available for retail purchase makes me think we'll be talking about people paying tens of thousands of dollars in 20 years for one

So are there any confirmed one-off jumpers for Gather Round? I think someone speculated that the Collingwood swooping magpie one might be, but I don't think there's been any others? That Kangaroos one would be an ideal candidate for such a strange round - it gives off AFLX vibes!
