After some foxing by re-tipping (that back fired, bad luck Wildy) and a Storm like penalty handed out to Boof the ladder is starting to shape up nicely for LGIO. Nice 5 for 1DayinSept (who may have to change name to Oct next season)

Bundoora v Northcote Park - Massive game, Bulls been shaky recently but will want to start their finals assault now. Both sides would be looking at this as a must win. Cougers probably more so and in good form beating Mont easily last start. Match of the round. Bulls at home by 20p
Heidelberg v Eltham - Bergers back to best smashing 3rd place WPL. Panther want to win to secure finals spot. With the rain this week and the rumoured state of the ground this could be a boggy day. Tigers by 3p (that hurt to tip against them)
Lalor v North Heidelberg - Lalor impressive for three quarters last week. Dishlickers haven't been for a while. Bloods at home by 18p
Montmorency v Greensborough - Maggies will look to get back into form for finals (and having Tigers next week) Slime coming of confidence building win last start. I reckon this will be close but Monty by 8p
West Preston-Lakeside v Macleod - Chooks will have worked hard on the track during the week, Macleod have injuries and have let the great start to the season drop, West great at home and will come back to town with a vengence. Roosters by 30p

Lalor vs North Heidelberg
Montmorency vs Greensborough
West Preston vs Macleod

Anther nterestng round of matches set down for tomorrow with a couple that could go either way:
Bundoora vs Northcote Park. The Cougas were very impressive last week although they still have the job ahead of them to grab that finals spot. The Bunnies fell over the line last week but the inclusion of Grossman makes them look much stronger.
Heidelberg vs Eltham. Can't see the Panthers troubling the Tigers with their eyes probably fixed on the result of the Bund vs N Park match and their minds on next week's clash with the Cougars.
Lalor vs North Heidelberg. A couple of big outs for the Doggies who'll miss the finals for the first time in a couple of seasons. The Bloods always lift a notch for these matches.
Montmorency vs Greensborough. Despite last week's caning, the Magpies are the second best team in the competition.
West Preston vs Macleod. The Kangaroos promising start to life in Division 1 has been derailed by player injuries (but they have survived) and will probably suffer at the hands of the Roosters.
