I've tried software update but it says everything is up to date.
Tonight when I get home from work I'll try a factory reset of the Apple TV and then software update after that. Hopefully that works.
If not, I'll send through an email to tech support.

Had the same issue last night when I tried to watch the replay of 2013 AFC Championship game or any of the preseason games. Decided to try and watch via ios app to make sure the feature worked and it did so ended up air-playing it via apple TV. Was going to email support this morning about the issue so I tried watching through apple TV again to confirm I still had a problem and was pleasantly surprised to find it all works OK now! It either fixed itself overnight or Game Pass may have fixed the issue due to several complaints?
As much as these week 4 games suck, it's pretty handy having it on mute just in the background at work.

Got the monitor on the Bills and the iPad on the College game.

Signed up for the regular season this year, as playoffs are shown on good ol' Foxtel.
During the season, how many games on average do you get through in a week? Would you watch your team in condensed mode? I'm just hoping I have enough spare time to make full use of the pass.

You don't - I guess it's important to differentiate that it's a streaming service. There's no copyright allowances for you to d/l and keep anything.
Hopefully you've got decent wifi at work.

I still haven't gotten Gamepass this season, and with good games on tv this week and the Eagles on ESPN I can wait at least another week... but now I've thought about it a bit more, I have a vague recollection of being able to download games to my phone last season.
Anyone? Did I make that up?
On the smartphone app, there should be a download icon on the right hand side of each match in the 'Games' menu.

After seeing Apple and the NFL using Hayne for Game Pass promotion I had an idea.
If you purchase Game Pass within the app, am I correct in thinking that it will bill your iTunes account?
If that's the case, in the absence of any promo codes, could you use iTunes vouchers (that you'd bought at 20% off) to pay for it, saving 20% that way?
Can you even use multiple iTunes vouchers at once? (ie. on the one purchase? I'm usually too lazy for vouchers, iTunes is just linked to my CC)
