If they are interested growing a viewing audience for the game in countries like Australia good luck doing it at that price especially when given the prime time games are already on FTA/Foxtel.

Truth be told, I doubt that those looking at pricing each year are aware of what games are available on FTA & Foxtel. Pricing is set on a regional basis once a year and as mentioned, our sub numbers have gone up every year in Australia.

It's not like the NFL is offering a rare/hard to get product. I think the sharp increase will cost them subscribers in the end and prices will fall. However in a new foreign market it's a very poor strategy and can stifle development.

MLB.TV is an excellent product and very reasonably priced to ensure they grow their product in new markets. Most companies will do that.

It's pure arrogance from the NFL.

I don't think the NFL argues with the point re: arrogance. You should hear some of the internal town hall meetings....anyone would think we are curing cancer . My Australian nature naturally repels from the self-congratulatory stuff that goes on here at times. They believe the hype!

In terms of living the dream, not so much for me anymore. The first season was good and the culture was far more fun then but coming into season 3, it feels just like working at almost any other company a lot of the time. That's not meant to sound jaded or arrogant, but coming in here as a huge sports fan it hasn't quite lived up to what I'd hoped it would be.

There's a torrential amount of options out there for those who want to consume NFL.

The league is at it's most "meh" period of my near 30 years watching it. Will be interesting to see if last season's ratings drop was an aberration or not.

It's an interesting time for the industry. I will say that while ratings were down, they were down for all TV networks and programs. 23 of the top 25 programs on TV in the US last year were football games so on a relative basis, we're doing ok. The big change will be when the TV rights deals are up in a couple of years. They are multi-billion dollar agreements and we are just about the only thing that still has consistent ratings, so it'll be interesting. That will be the next big catalyst for the NFL.

What forum is WP? As far as I'm aware, the platform hasn't run any live content (other than the Network) so I have no idea where they're getting that information from. If they are looking at an NFL Network stream, that feed is sourced from us and may add in some delay. The GamePass provider sources live game streams direct from each broadcaster.

Hoxx proxy, log into UK VPN, Delete all nfl cookies on browser and log out, then go to gamepass site "plans and pricing" and you'll be quoted 138 pounds. Create new account, different email, use paypal to pay for it, not thru bank account but thru PayPal wallet (make sure you put money there)

Just to reiterate that GamePass Europe is through a completely separate provider to the one who offers GamePass in Australia....if folks purchase via a VPN - you'll have to use the same VPN (and all the fun that sometimes entails) to watch games. Purchasing in Europe does not give you access to the product in Australia.

And yeah you'd have to always log in to that U.K. VPN BEFORE navigating to and watching game pass. But hoxx is a very good simple proxy. There's just one option for every country in the world and it automatically finds you the best one. Plus if you've got good NBN speed then you won't see difference in speed or streams drop out

That site is sus as f**k. the "DMCA" aproved certificate links to it being non verified and was only created 4 days ago.

Also lists that you can watch ESPN, BBC, Fox and a bunch of other TV channels.
