Just a casual observation with the game style, i mean they won easily and had a lot of scoring shots but dont seem to be too direct the Bergers.
Will be interesting to see if that style wins finals, big GF prediction there!! will be massive its correct!!!
Daw is a huge x factor at this level - Who knows NH are not that far off

cant post it but ive seen it, he was sacked 2 weeks ago, told they wouldnt be going with him again next year but he can apply if he likes!!!:D
so he snatched it.
“Van der Ross will take time with his family but believes he will look to coach again next season.”

Sacked without a game at Knox, 2nd last at Yarra Glen in D2 and last at whittlesea.

Something tells me maybe coaching isn’t his go.

you might be right there!!
Like ive said before, The Eagles had one applicant- he was it.
I wonder why only one person applied???

In fairness he came up against some pretty decent Heidelberg sides as coach, 06 probably the only one that got away and in 2010 WP were massive underdogs. This week will be a big test, Sier a big inclusion. Banyule seem to have fizzled out which is a bit disappointing, I had them pushing for 5th spot at the start of the season however it would seem they are a fair way off it.

My GF prediction:
Heidelberg vs. North Heidelberg
Will Sier play this week?

Having been involved at Whittlesea for many years it is with extreme frustration that I see what is happening after the last two years with coaches you can understand why they got one applicant. What was done last season will haunt them for years too come.

It sure will, keep an eye out for those kids who would have played u19's for them this year if they didnt sack last years coach.Quite a few will be good senior footballers in a couple of years.
The Committee is responsible for these decisions, same old names from years and years ago running the club to serve their own purposes and not caring about the future, trying to get their sons and brothers a senior game however they can!!
Nothing will change up there apart from Coaches!!

Surely not, its Friday!! They will need to put a huge fine on the person responsible at the NFL if that was the case!!!
Imagine if a club was 3 days late in providing basic information to the NFL - They would fine their ar3e off
My favourite is

Sorry we can’t supply an umpire like you’ve paid for, you’ll need to supply X umpire or you’ll be fined. Talk about passing the responsibility.

Round 14 tips

Banyule (9th) vs Greensborough (6th) Banyule suffered another defeat last week going down by 9 goals to WPL. Carafa and Farchione in the votes, they get young gun Kayrooz back this week and they would fancy their chances against a Greensborough team who have slipped to 6th on the ladder. Johnston and Trudgeon are 2 big ins for the Boro and they will look to bounce back from last weeks loss. Will be close but Greensborough have too much on the line. Greensborough by 14 points

Montmorency (2nd) vs Hurstbridge (5th) Big clash at Para rd with 2 inform sides, yea Montmorency went down to Bundoora last week but overall the form of both sides is good. Binion as always stood up for the magpies last week but they will look to kick more than 4-7-31 like they did against the Bulls. Hurstbridge did what they needed to last week and with Naylor bagging 10 and Moschetti again in coaches votes can they get the all important 4 points. Last time it was a draw, this time Montmorency by 3 points

Nth Heidelberg (4th) vs West Preston (8th) The doggies gave Macleod a 9 goal hiding last week with Hunt, Daw and Murphy leading the way. The double chance is still available for the doggies and they will look to increase their percentage against a roosters team that got a much needed win last week but they would be disappointed in their 2023 season. Federico and Saad lead the way in last weeks 9 goal win over Banyule and coach Heatley will have plans for these 2 players. At home though doggies too good. Nth Heidelberg by 37 points

Heidelberg (1st) vs Bundoora (3rd). Grand final rematch and both teams in good form. The tigers keeping Greensborough to only 3 goals last week with Barzen having his best game for the club. The bulls equally impressive in keeping Montmorency to only 4 goals with Lloyd another maximum 10 coaches votes. Gilmore vs Shepheard in the ruck will go a long way in deciding who wins tomorrow. At home, Tigers too be to strong. Heidelberg by 16 points

Whittlesea (10th) vs Macleod (7th) Another tough week for the eagles, a 90 point belting at Hurstbridge and then coach departing during the week. Prestopino kicked 5 for the eagles last week but will need some help if they are to kick a winking score. Macleod would have been disappointed in last weeks results and have had made several changes with R Brandt, Doherty x2, Hobbs and McKay all significant outs. Last time they gave Whittlesea a 20 goal thumping, expect it to be closer this time but Macleod still taking the 4 points. Macleod by 61 points

Enjoy the footy

An hour late with the Sunday Women's footy scores here comes another fine!!!
They don't miss a beat the lads from La Trobe.

Meanwhile NFNL Employees rort money out of kids trying to get into Jnr Rep squads through their personal side businesses that offer “elite” level training aimed at these kids. Then using these side business partners as specialist coaches at Rep sessions all paid for by NFNL $.
Yep they do whatever they want, Clubs better do as they say!

This isn't the first time you've implied this. Got any more info?
