Squealing? It’s not the 70s/80s as much as you want it to be.

2 of their players KOed due to late bumps. Why would you expect them to just accept that?
My point is that I am sure Mont would have done a few things to North players late bumps sly punches ( As outlined previously after the knoxkout bump ) and we dont hear North putting in complaints. Its the Fact that several Mont people are embarrassed the way the club reacts to things like this over last few years. They are renowned for complaining. But anyway wont do them anygood its September and they are arent a part of the finals anymore.

Hard game to pick this week. Bundoora don't really have a match up for Daw, unless McEvoy goes back and Bundooras tall forwards will worry North.

Can't see it being a blow out either way. Bundoora just.

Shepherd went back v Mont, wonder if they go that path again. Better option might be to limit the supply and deal with him kicking 4 or 5. The way Bundoora trotted out last start, they should focus on their strengths and play to them, forget worrying too much what the opposition will do.

Will Bundoora want to even bother playing Heidelberg again who seem to have them covered pretty easily.

I agree, yes it’s not the 70’s but squealing and lagging is just not on.
What happens on the ground in general play should stay there.
If someone is felled behind play then absolutely speak up.
But for Club to Club relations moving forward, to be squealing about this kind of stuff is pathetic imo.

Here’s an idea, don’t KO 2 blokes and you won’t need to worry 🤦‍♂️

I don’t understand how in some cases “speaking up” is ok… but others is lagging and squealing? Where’s the line?

Why should the player that committed the action get off if he has broken the rules or the game?

As we have all seen this week in the big league, stuff happens.
Not every player should be crucified for these things.
My point is if you lag and squeal every time, expect it back 10 fold.
Local footy should have better club to club relationships than what you see happening here.
There was no thuggery in the Tardio incident and for Mont to lag a player like him over that when their season is done , and 3 days later sack their coach. Says a lot about them as a club.

Well said it seems the honchos of Mont couldn’t wait to make the decision of sacking the coach . Poor form

They have both sides covered, someone has to play them I guess.

I agree. But Grand Finals throw up funny results all the time.
Greensboroughs 1s and 2s a few years back only lost 1 game between them for the year and didn't win either.
Could get a rainy wet day. Could have 1 horror quarter with the breeze. Who knows.

For sure…..even complacency could be there

If you’re worried about him being suspended then you are saying he did an action that is worthy of a suspension. If that’s so then you’re admitting North knocked out 2 Montmorency players prior to half time leaving them with 2 rotations for a half of football which dissipated to 17 players. Did it cost them the game and their season? Who knows but it was always going to be difficult 2 down.

When you say “lag” you think clubs shouldn’t report incidents resulting in serious injury outside the rules of the game and just “accept them” because an umpire missed it on the day?

Give it up will you.

You are defending Maynard on one page and calling for Jesse's head on another.

You can't have it both ways.

Move on!

Yes the North player did jump off the ground and likely did hit him in the head. But with local footy and only 1 camera angle, it's very hard to suspended someone when you actually can't see the impact.

I wasnt aware you could appeal, when its not you up on the charge. But I'm not sure the appeal will come back with anything but not guilty, given the footage.

I’m not calling for Jesse’s head whatsoever? But it deserves to be investigated. North aren’t the victims here, it’s the kid who was KO.

As for the Maynard incident I suggest you read the tribunals ruling as to why he was let off. Comparing that to this incident is simply laughable and a lazy deflection.

I think the North fans have thoroughly confused the tribunal process. Im assuming the Tardio hit wasn’t mentioned to the clubs in the match report so they believed it was “over”. Whereas clubs are entitled to submit footage until Monday midday. A perfectly reasonable action IMO if you have a player concussed via that sort of action.

Either way justice will take its course one way or another so let’s see what happens. I hope he plays because I’d love to see North knock off the Bulls

I’m not worried about it or admitting anything. Looks like the League aren’t either so move on.
Stuff happens.
