When is too late to announce a couch.

Has to be hard to recruit and maintain current list without knowing what is happening.

Clubs will be looking at preseason soon and you need someone with a whistle to plan that I would think.

4 out of 10 sides in D1 are coachless which is mind boggling at this stage.

Heidelberg would be sitting back laughing their head off.

Did hear tonight Hyde (Jnr) is locked at Boro.

And Plunkett or Cole are front runners at Mont.

WPL have someone very close but awaiting confirmation on who he can bring.

Every other side could have 2 coaches and the Bergers will still be laughing. I think next season is looking like a race for 2nd already.

ex Coll/Carl player?
Can confirm that now, as well as ex Bomber and a few others plus internals. They have plenty to choose from, you would think a decision is in the next week or so.

Probably the same reason that Darley, his Junior club, were happy to see the back of him & went out of their way to highlight how they had to earn respect back..
Considering Scotland is respected at Darley also I think you might be trying to stir up some trouble here

From their FB
The WPLFC is delighted to announce the appointment of Ian Aitken as our senior coach for the next 2 years.
The WPLFC is delighted to announce the appointment of Ian Aitken as our senior coach for the next 2 years.
Ian is well known to our Club, having played a key role in our 2018 premiership win.
Ian comes to WPLFC with an impressive coaching resume, having coached in the VFL, the EDFL, the VAFA & the NFNL. Ian’s strong development focus has also seen him head up football programs at both Xavier College & Box Hill Secondary College - 2 strong footballing schools.
Ian’s strong relationship with a number of our existing playing group and his desire to play a key role in getting our Club back to competing in finals were the overriding factors in our Club appointing Ian to the Head Coach position.
We warmly welcome Ian and his family back to West and we look forward to the journey ahead.
Further coaching announcements will be communicated over the next week.

Not at all, especially given their resurgence resulted in them knocking us off in our Grand Final..
Go read the EDFL thread too, he just doesn't get positive reviews:
Darley No
Sunshine No
Deer Park No
You're right though, it's me..

Can you definitely tell me there were issues at definitely issues at darley?

I have heard otherwise
But yes issues at deer Park and sunshine are true

If you were at club looking at appointing a new senior coach just on that than you would
Probably pass on the applicant
