I’m not involved at Heidelberg and haven’t been for six years but I’m pretty sure money has nothing to do with it. He’s been at the club since he was 17 and this will probably be his last year playing local footy. It’s about legacy.

Interesting to see that Wilson got dropped after having 18 possessions and 13 tackles.

Amazing that he has now qualified for Finals

Someone posted here a few weeks back he would qualify, seems there was some kind of plan around this.

Shame someone misses a flag to facilitate a bloke who has not put the work in during the season only to come in at the pointy end and swoop.

please, he isnt some ring in out of nowhere from the VFL that has no attachment to the club, he is Heidelberg through and through and if he has the ability to come in and strengthen Heidelberg then there shouldnt be any issue with it.

If Macleod can knock off Bundoora Eltham will be very very nervous. Elthamspercentage should take a fair whack this Saturday against Heidelberg allowing a passage for Macleod.

The race is certainly not over. For finals or relegation. (obviously finals)

In your scenario here, Macleod would need to beat Greensborough, who would need to win to play finals.

Sets up a massive final day.

Where is the double standards? He was given an opportunity to play VFL after playing at Heidelberg for 6 years while still maintaining his spot on Heidelbergs list. Heidelberg didn’t recruit him from VFL, he’s not just some random to the club there for a quick payday that will take the spot of another player there

Is there anywhere within PlayHQ you can see a list of players who have played each grade for a certain club?

Old system had this, was easier to see number of games played/who had played, without clicking through individuals.

I'm interested to see number of players used by clubs

Leading goal kicker, time in best, how many players used, how many played every game but with Play HQ its just too hard.
Pity as enjoyed getting all of the information and it created conversation

Statistics

Filter out all teams except 1

That’ll leave all the players for that club only

For example Boro has played 38 players

PlayHQ has a few shortcomings that is for sure.

Yep, ok….people here bleat about someone who plays all year getting the flick come finals for a returning vfl player blah blah blah…until it’s Heidelberg apparently. Spin it any way you want, the principle is the same.
