Kudos has to go to the Slime for taking it to the 2nd best team this year and just missing.

Mont made the big call that some questioned, but they are now in the GF with a chance. Will Fitz be recalled? Will he play in a magoos GF? Seems like his last game so one would hope to see him out there at some stage.

Reckon if Sportsbet had odd on the GF the Tigers would be really short and very deservedly so. However, Mont over the past 2 years look like the only side that can line up against the might of Heidelberg.

Early forecasts say 20km winds and 5mm rain. Let's really hope we get a decent day at Preston and this changes.

Just shit when this happens. To be honest we see it at 19s level more than others.

Until there are criminal charges laid against people this will still go on, I am not sure if criminal charges were laid against the Bundoora w***er earlier in the season but believe not. This is crap. People enter the field and do any violence should be banned from games and criminally charged. Anyone that thinks it's OK or part of following a team is a flog.

Heidelberg plays a possession game so anything that’ll hurt their efficiency is good for Montmorency

That’s not to say such a good side can’t adjust but Monts midfield actually did well last time so a scrappy stoppage game could work.

Great effort by the slime yesterday, ferranato & Brindley are 2 quality VFL players to come in for them and they have a very young list by the looks. Finishing 3rd this year would have exceeded their expectations.
No surprise however when their Football Director is Robert Hyde and coached by M Hyde - They will build success at the slime.
Strange to see their reserves belted yesterday? On top all year and out in straight sets - Injuries?
Bergs by 10 goals on saturday.

Heidelberg have lost a few GFs when they were heavy heavy favourites 2010 and 2005 if I recall correctly. Basically no one gave West Preston Or North chance those years so you never know!

Think they may have been favourites in 2005 but if they were it was only just when North had the likes of Caddy, Heatley, Gray, Kings x 2, Ryans x 2, Gadget, Dean, Holmes, etc.
Good team that North side and most likely missed a few guns above.
