On the basis that they are a powerhouse club. New players, new coach, new committee. Most of the group has signed on from this year I believe. Every club has a poor year or 2. I would be thinking finals rather the relegation!
Good call already got pen to paper with Two returning players.

Here's to hoping West Preston Lakeside win tomorrow so they can give Greensborough a good showing the following week in a home Grand Final. I think Roosters rezzies are in the granny as well so would be even better

Bundoora reserves looking the goods. They always make finals and it looks like another grand final appearance.

Another abysmal crowd today. Lucky to be 300 at the ground.

Still can't work out how we (the clubs) allow Cramer st to be used every year. Happy to stand corrected but Northen Blues take all of the food/bar and the league keep the gate. Everything old is new again so why not revert back to Epping where clubs were given opportunities to run food and can bars around the ground. The league can still keep their $15, at least floydy no longer around (thanks to HFC) to pocket the profits. While I'm at it, let the cars back in and ensure the cars are checked for grog as that's the only plausible excuse why they banned them to begin with

Greensborough for the reserves and seniors double. Unless some type of miracle occurs like Ahmed Saad kicking 8, I just don't see West winning it.

No way clubs will let independent can bars to run with current laws. They could lose their license.

I think the venue is garbage but it is good for a single club not getting a huge advantage by getting to run finals. I dare say they’d be making 10s of thousands on food and beer sales.

Temporary liquor licenses are easy to apply for and generally supported given there is proper planning.

Windy Epping or Cramer St much the same except Cramer st is a no home advantage foe all teams.
Wonder whether future finals might be at the magnificent stadium being build in the LaTrobe Uni grounds
Another example if the league being so lazy and unprofessional !!! I know this isn’t a big thing but was at the div3 final on Saturday and league boss presented the medals in a pair of jeans !!!! Wouldn’t you think the head honcho would have some sense and at least try and look professional ? Again it’s not a big issue but just pointing out the lack of care by the league ... your point on points is very valid and could have been an issue if it was outside the rules. Good prelim coming up.

WOW the league boss turning up in jeans. Cricky its 2019. Even saw the Prime Minister in jeans at an outdoor event on the weekend .
Did the CEO wear torn or dirty jeans ? Saw him on the weekend immaculate in jeans and NFL jacket.

Yep Northern blues get the food but the league run the bar

Just worked out why the league charges $15 entry into all finals.....To pay for the MCG Dining room for the League Medal tomorrow night. What an absolute joke. Keeps getting better and better by the day this league.

What are you on the payroll too 😂😂😂big ask for people to get into the MCG midweek . But I suppose the best player in the Comp didn’t get an invite so I wouldn’t expect anything less

Sorry but you were the one making an issue about someone wearing jeans. I'm not connected to Peter in any way.
The league has come along way since the Floyd administration under the leadership of Jeremy and now Peter and most importantly decisions are made by a professional and accountable Board rather than self interest clubs under the Floyd delegate system
