How much we talking. There simply isn’t that much money in local football unless your willing the blatantly cheat.
You must be living with your head in the clouds, money is ridiculous at the present time. The salary cap is rorted by 1 and all. Drop the points to 40 and there will be massive difference to player payments as they can only have so many players on their list.

Round 7 and picked 4/5 missing on Whittlesea

Winner of the round: Going with Nth Heidelberg who had a good 7 goal win over Whittlesea. They jumped from 10th to 7th and still have a slight chance to play finals.

Loser of the round: Going with West Preston who again were only 1 point behind Mont at 3 quarter time but got out scored 5 goals to 2 in the last quarter. Beat Mont and they maintain that buffer in 5th spot. They are only averaging 10 goals per game, the badly need Ahmed Saad back

Saad back this week. Was very close to playing last week, but club took the cautious approach.

Top 5 play the bottom 5 this week. You would think they all get the win. But if 1 or 2 can cause upsets, it would go a long way to keep them out of the relegation battle

Round 8 and the top 5 play the bottom 5. Can any team from the bottom 5 spring the upset to 1)get closer to possibly playing finals and 2) more importantly getting away from relegation.

Hurstbridge (8th) vs West Preston (5th). The bridges have lost 4 straight after a promising start to the season. They lose Naylor and Perrin out of their forward half which will make it more difficult. There opponent West Preston still can’t get any momentum going in their season but so get the mercurial Ahmed Saad back this week. He will prove a massive lift for the roosters. West by 27 points

Montmorency (2nd) vs Whittlesea (10th). The magpies have moved up to 2nd spot and are in terrific form. They strengthen their team with the inclusion of Donaldson and Lin Jong. Wale-Buxton impressive first season continues and he must be one of the favourites for the comp medal.
For the Eagles they do get the Wild brother trip back but lose Higgins and Murphy, 2 proven players at this level. Still no Waite for the eagles either.
Tough day for the eagles at Para rd, Monty by 53

Nth Heidelberg (7th) vs Greensborough (4th). This is the game that I think an upset might prevail. The doggies got a good win last week and get Brent Harvey back this week. For Greensborough, they lose Brindley who has his VFL debut this week, another positive for the league with so many young guns getting a VFL opportunity. Going with the Dogs in an upset. Nth Heidelberg by 14 points

Heidelberg (1st) vs Northcote Park (9th) The tigers keep rolling on and ran all over the top of Greensborough last week. They get Smith back this week as well. The cougars continue to show a tenacity to stay in games and have definitely improved. Boyse again up forward has been great and will look to continue to his good form. Heidelberg too strong though, tigers by 41 points

Bundoora (3rd) vs Macleod (6th). Two last round winners face off at Yulong and the bulls welcome back Neville Jetta for his 2nd game. The bulls were pushed last week all the way by Northcote Park and won’t want to take Macleod lightly. For Macleod their inconsistent season continued getting the 4 points last week but they lose McKeown and Latina from last weeks winning team. The bulls too strong and win by 37 points.

Good luck to all of the 23rd selected under 19 players, enjoy the experience and hope you all play well

Good call re Nth.
Boomer was a handy inclusion lol.
Been thereabouts against some quality sides, so deserved a win against a good side.

5 out of 5

Winner of the round: Tipped Nth Heidelberg to spring the upset and they did. Brent Harvey back was a huge inclusion and he kicked 3 for the day. Jesse Tardio still leading from the front with another BOG.

Loser of the round: Whittlesea, when they lose big, they lose big. Have suffered injuries and unavailability however a 157 point thrashing is not great, in saying that they have been few and fair between in division 1 for a number of years. Favourites for relegation now as % takes a big hit
