The dribble from this account created shortly after the coach left smells like a figure very close to the Ex elthameppingpowelltownivanhoethomo coach. Close as in the same household
Hearing the thomo south Morang boys want to return to Morang after realising their old club has more chance of succeeding in div 2 than thomo does if they get there

South could make quite the Div 2 outfit and play on 22 points each week. Makes me wonder if they have tried to lure these guys back.

You would think so, yes some players don’t want to play at a lower level. So many players over the years have played juniors at a club than gone to play afl, once their career is done come back locally and play at a different team in the league

Thomastown is in more trouble than what they think. On and off the field. Broken committee and broken playing group. President is a liar. The fish rots from the head.

Why have these blokes left in the first place?

Round -3 and again some interesting games coming up

Banyule (3rd 10-2) vs St Marys (5th 7-5). Banyule had a great 11 point win last week over Lower and look to have secured a double chance spot for season 2022. They do lose BOG for last week Blackmore-Moore who can’t seem to get a good run at it with injury in 2022. They do get the exciting Kayrooz back though. For the Burra, it was Hocking and Yeomans leading the way last week. Some handy ins with Cotter and Guldon back but they do lose Costello who has been in great form. Can the Burra take a top 5 scalp to all but secure their first Division 2 finals spot. I definitely give them a chance but Banyule too strong at home by 19 points

Diamond Creek (2nd 10-2) vs Eltham (1st 11-1) Top of the table clash and an exciting game awaits at Coventry Oval. Sam Gleeson has rocketed into 2nd spot in coaches award 7 votes behind Riley Loton from Banyule and he will look to Dicello and Walker continuing their good form as well. Pingree is a big out for the Creekers though. For the panthers, a few outs in Maley, Weatherald and A Woods hurts but I still think Eltham will have too much firepower. Eltham by 14 points

Watsonia (6th 5-7) vs Panton Hill (7th 4-8) The saints just need to keep winning to have any chance of playing finals footy. They get Saccuzzo back this week and will look to Boulton, Presser and Ban Zwienan to again lead from the front. For Panton Hill it was again the Parks boys, this time Sam and Oliver leading them to a comfortable win over Epping last week. They do lose Conte who was in the votes last week and with Watsonia still having a slim finals chance I can’t see Panton Hill winning 3 in a row. Watsonia by 17 points.

Epping (9th 2-9) vs Lower Plenty (4th 7-4-1). Epping were competitive last week but face a lower plenty team on the rebound. Marcon and Judd have been good performers for Epping but they are missing tomorrow so makes it that much more difficult. For Lower D Barden and Keys are still leading from the front and with these 2 and Zapantis up forward they will win easily. Lower Plenty by 78 points

Fitzroy Stars (10th 0-12) vs Thomastown (8th 3-8-1). Disappointing season for both teams and a chance for one of them to sing the song come 5pm tomorrow night. For the Stars they do get Lovett-Murray back to help Riley Livingstone who has single handedly led the Stars this year. For Thomastown, it’s about respectability now and trying to salvage something from 2022 and work towards 2023. Lopiccolo has definitely been a find for 2022 and now just need the likes of Coulson, Nesci and Vasilevski to show their continued good form from last week. Thomastown easily by 68 points.

Enjoy the footy

Banyule says hello
Panthers beat them by 11 goals last time. Should be a cracking contest in a couple of weeks. 7 changes yesterday for Eltham and lost 2 defenders at half time. A tough fought win away against a very good Diamond Creek side who would’ve thought they’d be a massive chance.

Yep should be a great game at Banyule in 2 weeks time - I think it will be a very different side this time around for Banyule

If Diamo couldn’t beat Panther today they aren’t beating them. 1 hand on the cup for me.

I’ll try not be too critical as you are a good poster but no one has a hand on the cup in all 3 divisions in the NFL.
Which is a great thing and it’s a great league with upsets happening most weeks but it’s a wide race in all three as far as I’m concerned.

Plenty of footy to be played at a 2 goal loss for DC doesn’t signature lights out by any stretch.
