If kinglake get there way to come across could they go straight to div2? I think that would be unlikely and the likelihood would be that Epping would request to go down to div 3 along with Stars.

I highly doubt that the league would approve straight to Div2, Banyule had to earn their way to Div2 after crossing from VAFA and I dare say Eltham Turtles would be pretty against a team coming in over the top of them after they crossed over

Speaking to someone from Kinglake over the weekend the club has already voted on moving back to NFNL. Will be interesting to see if the league they are in will let them go.

Broadford and Yea had to merge to have enough players for seniors and reserves combined.

Kinglake will be a great acquisition for NFNL Division 3. Have played in the league before back in the DVFL days and a well run club, currently have seniors, reserves and under 18’s in AFLOE.

That would make perfect sense and logical based on Fitzroy Stars & Epping's performance this year - It would still require approval from both Epping and the loser of the DIV 3 Grand Final but looks straight forward?

Kinglake will start in division 3 and be more than competitive in that competition.

How many games of AFLOE have you watched red_ranga? Any one of Kinglake, Powelltown, Yarra Junction or Warburton would make division 3 finals? I think all of the above would beat Epping and Fitzroy Stars and be competitive with Panton Hill.

One of the boys posted the below a few weeks ago - St Mary's have used the equal least players of all DIV 2 sides and their reserves side are second on the ladder - Dont reckon St Mary's can use injury for any lack of success

The burras are in the 5 on % at half way mark of the year. They had 2 important wins over Watsonia and Thomastown by 40 and 8 which has enabled them to secure 5th spot. Can they beat a team above them in 2nd half of the year which they failed to do so far Banyule 60 Diamond Creek 18, Eltham 28 and Lower Plenty 15. If they can do this then they will most likely play finals.

Always depends who is injured not just how many.

Agreed - Someone like Saad is irreplacable at West Preston but there arent any Saad's in DIV 2
I was talking about St Mary's - They have had the least amount of players used in DIV 2 season so unless they are missing their best 6 players each week they are no different to any other side
Just dont think that they can use injury as an excuse for not beating Diamo
