St Marys smashed Watsonia? Watsonia only playing lower and panto first 2 games maybe 5th spot could be interesting

St marys jumped them from the start and didn’t look back. They played exceptionally well , watsonia were absolutely terrible. Looked a completely different team to the last two weeks!

Panton Hill have been a huge disappointment. 0-3 finals look no chance.
Hard to see any other scenario besides a Panther vs DC grand final at this stage
Would be a massive failure if Eltham didn’t win it
What about diamo? Have gone absolutely all out
Ernie, who did Diamo recruit in the same calibre of Goodwin & Donaldson?
Not saying that mate but Marshall, Tobin, Keating and others all are div 1 footballers
Diamo have played the two worst sides in the last two weeks. Ill hold off on judging them until after this weekend against South Morang.
They’ve definitely recruited well no doubt. I still feel it would be considered a bigger failure by Eltham if they weren’t to win it, just my opinion mate.
Eltham have recruited to win it this year no doubt. They’ve bought in 3 30+ year olds to do it. Nothing wrong with that but clearly going all in. Add to that a few players giving it their last crack as well.
Diamond Creek have had a big crack and recruited just as well but their recruits overall aren’t in the twilight of their careers.
Eltham vs Epping will show us nothing. South Morang Vs DC should be interesting.
Who’s recruits are better in your opinion?
Both clubs did well. Both filled gaps. Hard to say. Eltham got a ruckman which if they had for the last 2 GFs could be in D1 right now.

Have to be Eltham as the biggest failure if they don’t win the flag this year.
Dominate 2’s ensures great depth for the club, best ground and facilities (as they keep telling everybody)
They should be a quality division 1 club but have been behind Hurstbridge, Whittlesea and now Banyule who have been 1st division clubs.
Plenty of pressure on the Panthers as a club to get out of divsion 2 and if they don’t in 2023 it will be another huge fail

Well if Panther beat DC by 50 points it would be hard to argue DC recruited better so yep sitting on the fence.
I’d say Panther, it would be their 3rd GF in 4 seasons. DC not playing in any of them. So the pressure is mounting on Eltham to get a result.

The interesting thing is that they play each other this week at AE Cracknell reserve in what shapes as a huge game for both clubs. With player movement from Lower to Panton Hill it sets up an mouth watering clash

DC vs South should be a ripper.
How far can South go? If they beat DC they’d have to be considered a threat.
