Surely he couldn’t go back there after what they have done previously
just ask!!! why wouldn’t he. Held in very high regard at Whittlesea, had a great tenure there
No shock with this years coach moving on and if he was the only applicant last year as mentioned previously not sure what the club was supposed to do

But was there only one applicant?

Could Bugden go back?

Is there a large offer for Kinglake coach?

A lot to play out, tough gig for someone that does not live relatively close with travel so has to shrink the pool but $$ if they have it could talk.

Denny Crane no idea if there was more than one applicant, just going on what others have said on Big footy. If there was then they made the wrong choice with the guy they chose.

Makes sense to chase Fairchild, premiership captain of the club, has done well with Kinglake

Bugden is held in very high regard as I previously said

Have heard they are in a good spot financially so don’t think $$ will be an issue.

Lots to play out for the Eagles and they need to get next coach right after the last few years

Certainly been the disappointment this year Thomastown, there would be a few unhappy campers down at the Bear Cave id imagine. Assume there would be plenty of unofficial chats going on .
Typical Thommo, with the list that they have, it's baffling that they've barely fired a shot in the last 5 years. All the gear, no idea

Tom Blake returns for Panton hill this week. First game since his ACL last year at lower plenty. He was by far the best Ruckman in the comp, could he be what drags Panton hill to make finals and be the difference or are we writing them off?

lennyhayes777 would need to win 3 most likely all 4 remaining games. They play St Marys, Thomastown, Sth Morang and Epping

Local footballer banned for life for off-the-ball hit, which is under police investigation

A northern league reserve grade player has been banned for life and could face criminal charges after allegedly elbowing another player in the head and knocking him out cold on Saturday.

Police are investigating an alleged assault in a local footy match on Saturday.

Thomastown reserve grade player Ashley Hood was reported after a sickening off the ball hit that left his Northcote Park opponent convulsing on the ground unconscious.

The incident occurred early in the fourth quarter and resulted in the game being called off with Bailey Wall-Bardelmeyer taken to hospital by ambulance.

Thomastown was leading the match 21.11 (137) to 2.2 (14) at Main Street Reserve at the time.

The Northern Football Netball League tribunal came down hard on Hood, handing out a 16-week suspension on Tuesday night.

The sanction automatically meets the threshold for a life ban under AFL Victoria guidelines.

Victoria Police confirmed they were investigating the matter after a complaint was made following the match.

It is alleged Hood elbowed Wall-Bardelmeyer in the head, knocking him out.

Players rushed to his aid after he had a seizure on the field.

A Northcote Park trainer performed first aid, stabilising the player before an ambulance arrived.

A report was made by the nearby goal umpire.

It is understood Wall-Bardelmeyer spent Saturday night in hospital under observation, will need to take time off work and has been told he is unable to drive for two weeks as he recovers.

Thomastown declined to comment when contacted by this masthead.
