No Booth for DC this week or are they playing games?
Playing games against a side they should be by 100+… I wouldn’t think so
Are they banking on being a certain starter in the Big Dance and have him fit for it?

Diamo wins with their best 2 or 3 out by 10 goals+ - May as well rest those with niggles
Preliminary final
Diamond Creek vs St Marys
Round 7: Diamond Creek 11-12-78 St Marys 5-5-35
Round 16: St Marys 5-9-39 Diamond Creek 22-14-146
The Demons come into the preliminary final after their first and only loss of the season back in round 5 when they were upset by Panton Hill. Last week a goalless 4th quarter against Elthsm result in a 25 point defeat after only being 1 point behind at 3 quarter time. They do regain Norman who has had a hamstring injury but they do lose Jacob Booth who has kicked 28 goals and been named in their best in 10 out of 14 games which is a big out. They will look to Barro, Tobin, Barnes, Pingree to have big games and kicks a winning score
They face a St Marys team who bounced back brilliantly last week in a high scoring first semi final win over Sth Morang. Antypas was a welcome addition kicking 4 goals on his return and with Bianchin, Hanlon and MacGibbon all in their best players they look to take on the night of Diamond Creek on the rebound.
St Marys have only kicked 5 goals in both of their encounters this season and will need to kick at least 10-12 if they wish to cause the upset.
Diamond Creek though have had the best defence all season and it will stand tall again tomorrow. Diamond Creek by 27 points

Hard to see St Mary’s giving a yelp but PH beat DC so anything can happen.

Have heard Diamond Creek have a few with concerns and also Booth/Norman only playing 1 game each in 5 weeks will be interesting to see how they go.
Have been told Eltham have no injuries in the ones or twos
Warm weather is definitely be a factor. You might see a fair few bottles of pickle juice on the sidelines. Fittest side will win in my opinion
Wonder if the reappointment of hall at morang has in influence on whether moorecroft stays

Norman played very well.
No concerns on fitness. He hit the ground running.
Both sides will be at full strength.
I’d expect Booth, Rennie, McPherson to all come back in. Question is, who are the unlucky ones to make way for Diamo?
Both sides have a full contingent of players to select. Expect an exciting game of footy next Saturday! 25 degrees at Preston - can’t ask for a better showcase.
