Eagles went 0/3 on Saturday, disappointing end to their club's season.
Well done to South and Diamo who will have both their reserves and seniors playing off next week.
Wow did Diamo look in good order, finally a day at Epping that had good conditions and they played near perfection, Whittlesea kicked 0.7 to start and that put them out of the game.

I think for the eagles who didn't win a game in division 1 last year to be in this position I think regardless of next Saturdays result it's been a positive season
For the demons, if they don't make the grand final it would be a big disappointment. Dominate reserves and very good 19's, they need to get up into Division 1. If not, they run the risk of losing some of those reserves and 19's especially to some Div 3 clubs close by.

Lets hope the next two weekends we get better weather, the wind makes for horrible footy. Sth Morang sit back and wait, be massive for them if they can jump into Division 1

I understand South Morang have had a whole heap of talented kids leave the club over the years to play a higher standard of football than what they could offer. Wonder if they'll go knocking on their doors should they jump up into Div 1 next season to come back. If so, they could quickly become some sort of threat in Div 1 by bringing back a handful of talented 1pt kids

Massive weekend for both clubs
Sth Morang have 19's, reserves and seniors in grand final
Diamond Creek have 19's in Division 1 preliminary final on Sunday and reserves and seniors in grand final on Sat

Both clubs with strong overall depth to take on the challenge of Division 1 in 2025

I picked Diamond Creek at start of the season and will stay wirh them. It should be a cracking game, let's hope for good weather.
