West had a chance to have a presence at the magnificent Ford Park from which an Auskick and junior program could have been created. As I understand it ultimately they turned to option down .

Already a junior club there (Ivanhoe Juniors) on north oval and YJFL on south oval.

Nth had some sort of partnership with West Ivanhoe Juniors I believe and they are based off Green street.

West had a joint team in the 19's with Banyule two years back and both Banyule and Heidelberg now have 2 x 19's. Looks like enough kids in the area, just need to get them.

Parkside are now in Premier C , have three senior men’s and 2 seniors women sides, 12 junior sides( boys and girls) I think they made the right call going back to VAFA, Lalor should do it

If Banyule, Old Eltham Collegians, Ivanhoe and Parade have come over to the NFNL, what is the benefit of Lalor going to VAFA?

Yeah why? Are players going to suddenly appear out of nowhere for Lalor because they play in the VAFA??
