They’d have some spare $ from miki being injured. Would be a disaster for Mernda to lose another quality player.Heard a rumour so not sure if it’s true but maybe headed to Thommo to play with a few mates
Obviously he's going to be out for the concussion, but i heard he did his hamstring 5 or 6 mins after the hit from the mernda bloke & that's what is keeping him out longer.Unfortunately Mitch was unconscious for a few seconds after the incident which has also resulted in a delayed concussion. Could be out for a while at this stage unfortunately.

Sounds like a typical Mernda style rumour to excuse their behaviour.Obviously he's going to be out for the concussion, but i heard he did his hamstring 5 or 6 mins after the hit from the mernda bloke & that's what is keeping him out longer.
It's hilarious that this smooth brain is defending the occurrence when there's literally video footage that's clear as dayView attachment 1385373
The fact this has 11 likes, some from Mernda current and past players shows how bad things really are there.
Your on the money. Cant wait to hear the excuse when they get rolled by Lalor on Saturday. I'm not missing this one.Sounds like a typical Mernda style rumour to excuse their behaviour.

How this club isn’t on a bond is beyond me. Absolute stain on the league
Thx for calling me out, made me go back and look at the footage. 5 or 6 mins after the incident he goes down, grabs his hamstring and 2 trainers come out and help him off.Sounds like a typical Mernda style rumour to excuse their behaviour.
Where do you find this stuff, you with the league or a clubIt’s a real shame…

Now it’s escalated into a 6 week penalty after a player has been concussed.
I haven’t seen the footage but I’ll take your word. Regardless he could still be concussed…Thx for calling me out, made me go back and look at the footage. 5 or 6 mins after the incident he goes down, grabs his hamstring and 2 trainers come out and help him off.
Not sure about the hamstring but in speaking to Mitch last night he definitely suffered from a delayed concussion.I haven’t seen the footage but I’ll take your word. Regardless he could still be concussed…

You may of hit a nerve Legend!Where do you find this stuff, you with the league or a club
Yes he kept playing. As above he looked to cop a hamstring after as well
I’m sure it was the cornerstone of Merndas case. Hence maybe the light penalty.Very surprised more hasn't been made of this.

Regardless I have zero sympathy for a coward willing to whack someone from behind regardless of impact and injury sustained.
Delayed concussion is far from rare and I’ve seen it many times. He clearly blacked out and dropped straight to the ground
I can guarantee that question was asked in the trial. From my info he provided a doctor’s certificate confirming a concussion..I don't disagree with you at all, but questions need to be asked. I'd be expecting my club to look after my son or daughter if that had happened to them.
Are trainers trained in concussion testing for local footy or are they just tape and water carriers?I don't disagree with you at all, but questions need to be asked. I'd be expecting my club to look after my son or daughter if that had happened to them.
