Yeah, it’s hilarious the people who live in this thread part time then proclaim how they don’t really care

Call him a seagull if you want, but Nick generally positions himself at stoppages in a way that if he gets the ball, he can run away and have a shot at goal or get a clean I50.Nick Daicos isn't that good. He gets pushed around too much. He needs to put on some muscle. He is a liability in the centre bounce.
You might want to tell that to the coaches who sacrifice one of their centre bounce players to doing nothing except trying to stop Nick.Nick Daicos isn't that good. He gets pushed around too much. He needs to put on some muscle. He is a liability in the centre bounce.
Kapow!Again... another opinion not grounded in any fact.
If you prefer to have a discussion grounded with facts rather then hyperbolic conjectures, let me suggest by introducing the fact you've posted 224 times in this thread, while I've posted 36 times.
If we are to assert your claim, that I'm really passionate about it, then your claim that:
”none of it really bothers me the way it does for you"
Is tenuous at best.
If this is non-sequitur logic you follow... I suggest your objectivity and neutrality on this subject, is not as developed as you like to paint in this thread.
Or watch the centre bounce in the last 5 minutes of the 2023 Grand Final that led to the De Goey goal...You might want to tell that to the coaches who sacrifice one of their centre bounce players to doing nothing except trying to stop Nick.
Only award the best players have wonI don't count that one (at least when Nick isn't top 3). Players dont actually vote on games. Most of them don't watch enough games to really know who was the best player of the year. Great accolade as your peers are essentially voting on how good they think you are, but it's not really set up to try to indicate who was the best player that year.
Of course they won it. They have the greatest reputations of players from the last 50 years and the nature of the voting for that award is that it's all about reputation.Only award the best players have won
Matthews Carey and Gablett all past winners.
Don’t have a Brownlow or Coaches award between them
Nick Daicos isn't that good. He gets pushed around too much. He needs to put on some muscle. He is a liability in the centre bounce.
Players have him at 2 currently - I agree with them TBH - assuming Bont is 1. Nick should become a lot better by the end though.Only award the best players have won
Matthews Carey and Gablett all past winners.

Reckon we'll get to that flop for a high tackle on his highlights reel?
Half of them are throws tooHows the 2m handballs so he gets the cheap 1-2 stat
3 Brownlow votes, 8-9 AFLCA votes (Bevo won’t give Daicos 5, he’ll give it to Libba or Darcy).
Nick’s first half was 7/10 while Darcy’s was 9/10.Darcy was easily better than Daicos tonight.
People don't value goals and pack marks as much as they should, instead giving the votes to midfielders who get a lot of stats but don't really do much to influence the game. This is not a dig at Daicos as such, more a dig on how midfielders in general get preferential treatment because of the way stats are calculated than players of other positions.
Royal Commission into Fly's fudging of the numbers is still required.Looks like Farcical Fly is up to his old tricks again.
5 votes for that performance is utterly fraudulent
As if last years fudging wasnt bad enough when he was proclaimed best on by Fly in a game he would have been lucky to be in the top 10 players.
Nick’s first half was 7/10 while Darcy’s was 9/10.
Nick’s second half was 9/10 while Darcy’s was about a 3/10.
Royal Commission into Fly's fudging of the numbers is still required.
Fines, stripping of awards/premierships and even a prison sentence are possibilities for Fly's crimes.
It was the only accurate one.I don't count that one (at least when Nick isn't top 3). Players dont actually vote on games. I would too:3 Brownlow votes, 8-9 AFLCA votes (Bevo won’t give Daicos 5, he’ll give it to Libba or Darcy).
