And he couldn't have looked happier in the post match interview on the ground. I can just imagine how proud mum and dad were of the pair of them.
Remember how people were worried about Nick potentially not nominating for FS and hoping to go to Carlton? lmao, there’s no way he was ever going to do anything but take the opportunity to play footy with his brother.

Are there more courteous, well brought up kids than our Daicos boys? Their dad is so unaffected and openly affectionate in his interactions with them. It's beautiful to see. They are both so humble.
I’d go as far as saying the Daicos’ are just about the most wholesome family in the league. Peter and Colleen have done a wonderful job raising such humble and well rounded boys.

I would like to see him get time forward. He was obviously a consistent goal kicker in juniors, and you see the goal his brother kicked. Feel like it's mandatory that a Daicos spends time forward.

Not trying to be a stalker, but is that some “calf awareness”?

Looks like he's pulled up lame.

Such a shame too

Something else to remember is he started on a back flank and collected 27 possies?

Seriously WTF city here, nobody wins so many from a back flank and certainly not on debut.

Admittedly the aints are no world beaters but 27 from the back flank on debut is seriously good.
This kid will be a absolute star, seriously just plays his style perfectly, by his career end will have huge possession count maybe most ever by average, total if he keeps healthy.

Hopefully he gets some time as a high hf too, would like to see what's in his kit bag as fwd who plays up around the midfield.
I think his role will be settled for a fair while. Second half of the year is when they may start changing or upping his role.

Be honest if you had it your way all the talent would be stacked in the backline with a workman like no thrills boring fwd 6 pressure based xfactor baron snorefest there.🤣 Not you Bucks is it?
Howe Moore Pendles Daicos Quaynor ohhh wait a minute too late.

/Joking with you.

Nah but seriously I hope they do change it up with him after a bit and show off a bitbif his damaging forward of center side.

I'd play the most talented blokes in the positions where their strengths will shine brightest. To me, Moore and Howe's biggest strength is timing bigs leaps at the footy. They get to do that more often as defenders - as forwards, they'd have defenders taking that away from them with early body contact. Daicos looks like a pure mid, but at the moment, due to his youth, they're not putting him into too many stoppages and playing him in a role where he gets to hone and use his strength as a running linking mid much more than he would as a forward. I like it. Quaynor is an interesting one with a lot of potential strengths - bloody good in a contest, so there is definite forward potential, but I think they want him to become a run and carry, line-breaking type to go with his physicality.

and Body not Big and Strong Enough to be Full Time Mid

I was joking with you, given your propensity to want to turn all our forwards with xfactor into defenders. Was just stirring the pot.

I think Moore would be equally good as a forward had he been left there to develop.

Think the horse has bolted now.

Howe I agree with you he is better and more consistent back.

Quaynor was thinking midfield long term.

Daicos I would like to see as a mid who pushes fwd rather then be a mid who drops too deep to get involved up field imo Pendles isn't utilised delivering inside 50 enough as is.

IF Moore had a Full Pre-Season training as a Forward I still think he do a Great Job

I reckon he’s a straight ahead player. He would be more than satisfactory as a forward, but he’s a natural in defence.
You'd lose his ability to run and jump in a pack without being targeted, his willingness to run with the footy and create and his assuredness at ground level. If he developed his leading craft, you'd add hit ups on the lead.

I'd keep him in defence The other option would be ruck, but we've got a very good one already.
